Abstract

An electronic device and a method for sending a response message according to a current status are provided. An operating method of the electronic device includes determining whether a received message is confirmed within a preset time, when the received message is not confirmed within the preset time, determining whether a contact number of a sender electronic device is a preset contact number, and when the contact number of the sender electronic device is the preset contact number, sending an automatic response message to the sender electronic device corresponding to a preset automatic response message status.

Claims

1. An operating method of an electronic device, the method comprising:

determining whether a received message is confirmed within a preset time;

when the received message is not confirmed within the preset time, determining whether a contact number of a sender electronic device is a preset contact number; and

when the contact number of the sender electronic device is the preset contact number, sending an automatic response message to the sender electronic device corresponding to a preset automatic response message status.

2. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

determining whether the electronic device is turned on; and

when the electronic device is turned off, receiving at least one message after the electronic device is turned on.

3. The method of claim 2, further comprising:

when the electronic device is turned on, determining whether a current operation mode is set to a power-save mode; and

when the current operation mode is set to the power-save mode, receiving at least one message after the power-save mode is switched to a normal mode.

4. The method of claim 2, further comprising:

when the electronic device is turned on, determining whether a current operation mode is set to a power-save mode; and

when the current operation mode is not set to the power-save mode, receiving a message.

5. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

when the received message is confirmed within the preset time, determining whether a response message of the received message is transmitted to the sender electronic device within a preset time; and

determining that the response message of the received message is not transmitted to the sender electronic device within the preset time.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein the sending of the automatic response message to the sender electronic device corresponding to the preset automatic response message status when the contact number of the sender electronic device is the preset contact number comprises:

determining a preset automatic response message status;

when the automatic response message status is set to send a first message, determining a current status to generate the first message;

generating the first message corresponding to the determined current status; and

sending the generated first message to the sender electronic device.

7. The method of claim 6, wherein the determining of the current status to generate the first message comprises:

receiving current location information from at least one of a Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite and a base station; and

determining whether the electronic device is outside a preset region, based on the received current location information.

8. The method of claim 6, wherein the determining of the current status to generate the first message comprises:

receiving current time information from at least one of a Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite and a base station; and

determining whether the preset time is passed, based on the received current time information.

9. The method of claim 6, wherein the determining of the current status to generate the first message comprises:

receiving current time information from at least one of a Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite and a base station; and

determining whether the current time is within a preset time range, based on the received current time information.

10. The method of claim 6, wherein the determining of the current status to generate the first message comprises:

detecting a tilt change and a spatial movement using at least one sensor operatively connected to the electronic device; and

determining whether the detected tilt change and spatial movement exceed a preset tilt and preset spatial coordinates.

11. The method of claim 6, wherein the generating of the first message by reflecting the determined current status comprises:

generating the first message indicating that the electronic device is outside the preset region.

12. The method of claim 6, wherein the generating of the first message corresponding to the determined current status comprises:

generating the first message indicating that the preset time is passed.

13. The method of claim 6, wherein the generating of the first message by reflecting the determined current status comprises:

determining a setting based on a time range; and

generating the first message corresponding to a current time range in the setting based on the time range.

14. The method of claim 6, wherein the generating of the first message by reflecting the determined current status comprises:

generating the first message indicating an exercise.

15. The method of claim 1, wherein the sending of the automatic response message to the sender electronic device corresponding to the preset automatic response message status when the contact number of the sender electronic device is the preset contact number comprises:

determining the preset automatic response message status;

when the automatic response message status is set to send a second message, fetching the second message; and

sending the fetched second message to the sender electronic device.

31. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing instructions, that when executed, cause at least one processor to perform the method of claim 1.

16. An electronic device comprising:

a processor unit configured to determine whether a received message is confirmed within a preset time, and to determine whether a contact number of a sender electronic device is a preset contact number when the received message is not confirmed within the preset time; and

a communication module configured to, when the contact number of the sender electronic device is the preset contact number, send an automatic response message to the sender electronic device corresponding to a preset automatic response message status.

17. The electronic device of claim 16, wherein the processor unit determines whether the electronic device is turned on, and

when the electronic device is turned off, the communication module receives at least one message after the electronic device is turned on.

18. The electronic device of claim 17, wherein, when the electronic device is turned on, the processor unit determines whether a current operation mode is set to a power-save mode, and

when the current operation mode is set to the power-save mode, the communication module receives at least one message after the power-save mode is switched to a normal mode.

19. The electronic device of claim 17, wherein, when the electronic device is turned on, the processor unit determines whether a current operation mode is set to a power-save mode, and

when the current operation mode is not set to the power-save mode, the communication module receives a message.

The electronic device of claim 16, wherein the processor unit, when the received message is confirmed within the preset time, determines whether a response message of the received message is transmitted to the sender electronic device within a preset time, and confirms that the response message of the received message is not transmitted to the sender electronic device within the preset time.

21. The electronic device of claim 16, wherein the processor unit determines the preset automatic response message status, determines a current status to generate the first message when the automatic response message status is set to send a first message, and generates the first message corresponding to the determined current status, and

the communication module sends the generated first message to the sender electronic device.

22. The electronic device of claim 21, wherein the communication module receives current location information from at least one of a Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite and a base station, and

the processor unit determines whether the electronic device is outside a preset region, based on the received current location information.

23. The electronic device of claim 21, wherein the communication module receives current time information from at least one of a Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite and a base station, and

the processor unit determines whether the preset time is passed, based on the received current time information.

24. The electronic device of claim 21, wherein the communication module receives current time information from at least one of a Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite and a base station, and

the processor unit determines whether the current time is within a preset time range, based on the received current time information.

25. The electronic device of claim 21, wherein the processor unit detects a tilt change and a spatial movement using at least one sensor operatively connected to the electronic device, and determines whether the detected tilt change and spatial movement exceed a preset tilt and preset spatial coordinates.

26. The electronic device of claim 21, wherein the processor unit generates the first message indicating that the electronic device is outside the preset region.

27. The electronic device of claim 21, wherein the processor unit generates the first message indicating that the preset time is passed.

28. The electronic device of claim 21, wherein the processor unit determines a setting based on a time range, and generates the first message corresponding to a current time range in the setting based on the time range.

29. The electronic device of claim 21, wherein the processor unit generates the first message indicating an exercise.

30. The electronic device of claim 16, wherein the communication module sends the fetched second message to the sender electronic device.

32. An operating method of an electronic device, the method comprising:

determining whether a received message is confirmed within a preset time;

when the received message is not confirmed within the preset time, determining whether a contact number of a sender electronic device is a preset contact number; and

when the contact number of the sender electronic device is the preset contact number, sending an automatic response message to the sender electronic device corresponding to at least one information of current location information, current time information and roaming information, wherein information is received from at least one of a Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite and a base station.

33. An electronic device comprising:

a processor unit determining whether a received message is confirmed within a preset time, when the received message is not confirmed within the preset time, determining whether a contact number of a sender electronic device is a preset contact number; and

a communication module when the contact number of the sender electronic device is the preset contact number, sending an automatic response message to the sender electronic device corresponding to at least one information of current location information, current time information and roaming information, wherein information is received from at least one of a Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite and a base station.
