1. A method of receiving a control channel at a user equipment in a wireless communication system using multiple component carriers, the method comprising:
- receiving a plurality of search spaces, wherein each search space comprises a plurality of control channel candidates and each search space is corresponding to a respective carrier; and
monitoring the control channel candidates for the control channel, wherein each of the control channel candidates has a downlink control information (DCI) format size, includes a carrier indicator field (CIF), and is cyclic redundancy check (CRC) scrambled by a radio network temporary identifier (RNTI),wherein first control channel candidates of the control channel candidates have CIF values for a same DCI format size.

Abstract
The present application is directed to a wireless communication system and, more particularly, a method of processing a control channel at a user equipment in a wireless communication system using multiple carriers. The method comprises receiving a plurality of search spaces, wherein each search space comprises a plurality of control channel candidates and each search space is corresponding to respective carrier. The method also includes monitoring the control channel candidates for the control channel.
