Abstract

An image-processing system includes a receiver which receives an input value defining an output range, a generator which generates a three-dimensional model having a target image attached to a three-dimensional conformation, a decision part which decides a position of a viewing point and a viewing angle in accordance with the input value, and a projector which projects the three-dimensional model from the viewing point, wherein the decision part changes a range of a target image inside a viewing field by changing the viewing angle preferentially when the input value is in a first range, and changes the range of the target image inside the viewing field by changing the viewing point preferentially when the input value is in a second range which is a wider-angle side than that of the first range.

Claims

1. An image-processing system, including:

a receiver which receives an input value defining an output range;

a generator which generates a three-dimensional model having a target image attached to a three-dimensional conformation;

a decision part which decides a position of a viewing point and a viewing angle in accordance with the input value; and

a projector which projects the three-dimensional model from the viewing point, wherein

the decision part changes a range of a target image inside a viewing field by changing the viewing angle preferentially when the input value is in a first range, and changes the range of the target image inside the viewing field by changing the viewing point preferentially when the input value is in a second range which is a wider-angle side than that of the first range.

2. An image-processing system according to claim 1, wherein

the second range includes a range of the target image inside the viewing field which increases according to an increase in a distance from a center of the three-dimensional conformation to a position of the viewing point, and the range of the target image inside the viewing field decreases according to the increase in the distance from the center of the three-dimensional conformation to the position of the viewing point.

3. An image-processing system according to claim 2, wherein

the position of the viewing point is controlled according to a size of an output area.

4. An image-processing system according to claim 1, wherein

the decision part decides the viewing point in a position apart from the center of the three-dimensional conformation when the input value is in the first range.

5. An image-processing system according to claim 1, wherein

the decision part changes the range of the target image inside the viewing field by changing the position of the viewing point preferentially when the input value is in a third range which is a smaller angle side than that of the first range.

6. An image-processing system according to claim 1, wherein

the input value is a zoom designation value designating a zooming degree;

the receiver receives at least one of a tilt designation value changing the output range up-and-down and a pan designation value changing the output range right and left; and

the image-processing system further includes a changing part which rotates the three-dimensional model to a world coordinate system or changes a direction of a viewing field corresponding to at least one of the tilt designation value and pan designation value.

7. An image-processing system according to claim 1, wherein

the three-dimensional conformation is solid including at least one inner surface on which the target image is attached;

the target image is an image which is represented by a coordinate system including at least one angle coordinate; and

the projector projects through a single projection method.

8. An image-processing method to generate an output image which is performed by a computer, comprising the steps of:

receiving an input value defining an output range;

deciding a position of a viewing point and a viewing angle according to the input value;

generating a three-dimensional model having a target image attached to a three-dimensional conformation; and

projecting the three-dimensional model from the viewing point, wherein

the computer performs the following sub-steps in the deciding step;

changing the range of the target image inside the viewing field by changing the viewing angle preferentially when the input value is in the first range, and

changing the range of the target image inside the viewing field by changing the viewing point preferentially when the input value is in the second range which is a wider-angle side than the first range.

9. A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a program causing a computer to execute the steps of:

receiving an input value defining an output range;

generating a three-dimensional model having a target image attached to a three-dimensional conformation;

deciding a position of a viewing point and a viewing angle according to the input value; and

projecting the three-dimensional model from the viewing point, wherein

the deciding step changes the range of the target image inside the viewing field by changing the viewing angle preferentially when the input value is in the first range and changes the range of the target image inside the viewing field by changing the viewing point preferentially when the input value is in the second range which is a wider-angle side than the first range.
