Abstract

A system and method for reducing conflict between parties that must communicate with each other are disclosed. In its most basic form, the invention is embodied in a system comprising the steps of: pairing users with system-specific unique address (e.g. e-mail address or text message destination number); receiving each electronic message and edit it as necessary in order to eliminate inflammatory or inappropriate language; and sending the edited electronic message to the intended recipient user, optionally with a copy of the edited electronic message also sent to the sending user.

Claims

1. A system for reducing conflict between parties that must communicate with each other comprising:

a system host, the system host comprising;

i. a conflict reduction database comprising at least a pair that includes a first user having a first user'"'"'s message transfer agent (MTA) and a second user having a second user'"'"'s MTA,

ii. a system host MTA configured to receive an electronic message from the first user and store the electronic message in the conflict reduction database, and

iii. an auditor interface for display on an electronic display, the auditor interface configured to permit an auditor to edit the electronic message stored in the conflict reduction database and send the electronic message to the second user.

2. The system of claim 1, wherein the system is configured to send the audited electronic message to the first user'"'"'s MTA.

3. The system of claim 2, wherein the audited electronic message sent to the first user'"'"'s MTA further comprises an auditor'"'"'s comment.

4. The system of claim 1, wherein the auditor comprises an automated auditing system.

5. The system of claim 1, wherein the auditor interface is a web application.

6. The system of claim 1, wherein the system host is configured to notify the auditor of the electronic message to be audited, after the electronic message is stored in the conflict reduction database.

7. A system for reducing conflict between parties that must communicate with each other comprising:

a. a signup module comprising a system host and a system host database, the system host configured to link a first user and a second user to create a pair,

b. a message intake module comprising a system host message transfer agent (MTA) configured to receive an electronic message from a sender of the pair addressed to a receiver of the pair and store the electronic message to the system host database,

c. an audit module comprising an auditor interface configured to display the electronic message stored in the system host database on an electronic display and permit an auditor to edit the electronic message, and

d. a message delivery module comprising an application configured to send the electronic message to a receiver'"'"'s MTA after the electronic message is audited.

8. The system of claim 7, wherein the message delivery module is further configured to send the audited electronic message to the first paired user'"'"'s MTA.

9. The system of claim 8, wherein the audited electronic message sent to the first paired user'"'"'s MTA further comprises an auditor'"'"'s comment.

10. The system of claim 7, wherein the auditor comprises an automated auditing module.

11. The system of claim 7, wherein the auditor interface is a web application.

12. The system of claim 7, wherein after storing the electronic message to the system host database, the message intake module is further configured to notify the auditor of the electronic message to be audited.

13. A method for reducing conflict between parties that must communicate with each other comprising the steps of:

a. Receiving an electronic message from a first user addressed to a second user,

b. Storing the electronic message to a system host database,

c. Providing an audit interface configured to display the electronic message stored in the system host database on an electronic display and permit an auditor to access and edit the electronic message, and

d. Sending the electronic message to a second user'"'"'s message transfer agent (MTA) after the electronic message is edited by the auditor.

14. The method of claim 13 further comprises a step of sending the electronic message to a first user'"'"'s MTA.

15. The method of claim 14, wherein the electronic message sent to the first user'"'"'s MTA further comprises an auditor'"'"'s comment.

16. The method of claim 13, wherein the auditor comprises an automated auditing module.

17. The method of claim 13, wherein the auditor interface is a web application.

18. The method of claim 13 further comprises notifying the auditor of the electronic message to be audited.
