Abstract

An illumination apparatus includes a determination unit that determines whether or not the supply of power from the system power supply is performed. In addition, the illumination apparatus includes a control unit that performs control such that power is supplied to the light source from the battery based on setting information of the light source when the determination unit determines that the supply of power from the system power supply is not performed.

Claims

1. An illumination apparatus comprising:

a light source;

an illumination circuit that controls the light source;

a battery that is charged with power from a system power supply;

a determination unit that monitors power supplied from the system power supply and determines whether or not the supply of power from the system power supply is performed;

a control unit that controls supply of power to the light source from the battery based on setting information of the light source when the determination unit determines that the supply of power from the system power supply is not performed.

2. The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the control unit supplies power to the illumination circuit and the battery from the system power supply when the determination unit determines that the supply of power from the system power supply is performed.

3. The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the control unit performs discharging from the battery to the system power supply when the determination unit determines that the supply of power from the system power supply is not performed.

The apparatus according to any one of claim 1, wherein, if the setting information of the light source includes information indicating that the light source is turned on when the supply of power from the system power supply is not performed, power is supplied to the light source from the battery, and, if the setting information of the light source includes information indicating that the light source is not turned on when the supply of power from the system power supply is not performed, discharging is performed from the battery to the system power supply.

5. The apparatus according to any one of claim 1, wherein the light source includes a first light source and a second light source, and

wherein the illumination circuit controls the first light source and the second light source based on the setting information of the light source.

6. An illumination system comprising:

the illumination apparatus according to any one of claim 1; and

a management apparatus that performs illumination control of the illumination apparatus.

7. The system according to claim 6,

wherein the management apparatus transmits the setting information of the light source to the illumination apparatus in an emergency.

8. An illumination apparatus control method comprising:

monitoring power supplied from the system power supply and determining whether or not the supply of power from the system power supply is performed; and

controlling supply of power to a light source from a battery based on setting information of the light source when it is determined that the supply of power from the system power supply is not performed.

9. The method according to claim 8, wherein, in the controlling of the supply of power, power is supplied to the illumination circuit and the battery from the system power supply when it is determined that the supply of power from the system power supply is performed.

10. The method according to claim 8, wherein discharging is performed from the battery to the system power supply when it is determined that the supply of power from the system power supply is not performed.

11. The method according to any one of claims 8, further comprising:

receiving the setting information of the light source from the management apparatus in an emergency.
