Abstract

According to one embodiment, an electronic device, includes a display controller and a drawing module. A display controller can display first content by one of a first image with a first gradation and a second image with a second gradation lower than the first gradation on a screen. The drawing module can draw a locus input by handwriting on a screen. The display controller displays the first content by the second image when the locus is drawn by the drawing module on the first content.

Claims

1. An electronic device, comprising:

a display controller configured to be able to display first content by one of a first image with a first gradation and a second image with a second gradation lower than the first gradation on a screen; and

a drawing module configured to be able to draw a locus input by handwriting on the screen,

wherein the display controller is configured to display the first content by the second image when the locus is drawn by the drawing module on the first content.

2. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the display controller is configured to switch the first image to the second image, if drawing by the drawing module is started while the first image is displayed on the screen.

3. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the display controller is configured to switch the second image to the first image, if drawing by the drawing module is finished while the second image is displayed on the screen.

4. The electronic device of claim 1, further comprising:

a first generation module configured to generate a first file comprising first data corresponding to the second image and second data corresponding to the locus drawn by the drawing module.

5. The electronic device of claim 4, wherein the first generation module comprises a second generation module configured to generate a second file comprising third data for displaying a first thumbnail corresponding to the first file and fourth data indicating a storage location of the first file.

6. The electronic device of claim 5, wherein the display controller is configured to display an image comprising the first thumbnail on the screen based on the second file.

7. The electronic device of claim 5, wherein when a third file is generated by the first generation module, the second generation module is configured to incorporate fifth data for displaying a second thumbnail corresponding to the third file and sixth data indicating a storage location of the third file into the second file.

8. A display method, comprising:

displaying first content by one of a first image with a first gradation and a second image with a second gradation lower than the first gradation, the first content being displayed by an application;

a display controller configured to be able to display first content by one of a first image with a first gradation and a second image with a second gradation lower than the first gradation on a screen; and

drawing a locus input by handwriting on a screen; and

displaying the first content with the second image when the drawing is performed.

9. The method of claim 8, further comprising:

switching the first image to the second image, if the drawing is started while the first image is displayed on the screen.

10. The method of claim 8, further comprising:

switching the second image to the first image, if the drawing is finished while the second image is displayed on the screen.

11. The method of claim 8, further comprising:

generating a first file comprising first data corresponding to the second image and second data corresponding to the locus.

12. The method of claim 11, further comprising:

generating a second file comprising third data for displaying a first thumbnail corresponding to the first file and fourth data indicating a storage location of the first file.

13. The method of claim 12, further comprising:

displaying an image comprising the first thumbnail on the screen based on the second file.

14. The method of claim 12, further comprising:

incorporating fifth data for displaying a second thumbnail corresponding to a third file and sixth data indicating a storage location of the third file into the second file, when the third file is generated.

15. A computer-readable, non-transitory storage medium having stored thereon a computer program which is executable by a computer, the computer program controlling the computer to execute functions of:

displaying first content by one of a first image with a first gradation and a second image with a second gradation lower than the first gradation on a screen;

drawing a locus input by handwriting on a screen; and

displaying the first content with the second image when the drawing is performed.

16. The medium of claim 15, wherein the computer program further controls the computer to execute a function of:

switching the first image to the second image, if the drawing is started while the first image is displayed on the screen.

17. The medium of claim 15, wherein the computer program further controls the computer to execute a function of:

switching the second image to the first image, if the drawing is finished while the second image is displayed on the screen.

18. The medium of claim 15, wherein the computer program further controls the computer to execute a function of:

generating a first file comprising first data corresponding to the second image and second data corresponding to the locus.

19. The medium of claim 18, wherein the computer program further controls the computer to execute a function of:

generating a second file comprising third data for displaying a first thumbnail corresponding to the first file and fourth data indicating a storage location of the first file.

20. The medium of claim 19, wherein the computer program further controls the computer to execute a function of:

displaying an image comprising the first thumbnail on the screen based on the second file.

21. The medium of claim 19, wherein the computer program further controls the computer to execute a function of:

incorporating fifth data for displaying a second thumbnail corresponding to a third file and sixth data indicating a storage location of the third file into the second file, when the third file is generated.
