1. A vacuum cleaner comprising:
- a handle which comprises,a partially hollow body,one or more control features, anda first wireless radio frequency communication device located within the partially hollow handle body;
a main body;
a suction source;
a suction base that is pivotally or swivelly attached to the main body, and comprises an intake housing having a suction inlet and a discharge opening in fluid communication with the suction source;
a power source configured to be electrically connected to the suction source;
a second wireless radio frequency communication device that is configured to be in communication with the first wireless radio frequency communication device and is configured to control at least the selective application of power to the suction source, wherein the first wireless radio frequency communication device is configured to send wireless signals from the handle to the second wireless radio frequency communication device to control at least the selective application of power to the suction source; and
a rigid support structure that interconnects the handle to the main body.
