Abstract

A cover for a service fluid tank arrangement having a first service fluid tank and a second service fluid tank includes a housing having a housing wall through which a first opening and a second opening extend. The first opening is configured to be connected to a service fluid inlet of the first service fluid tank and the second opening is configured to be connected to a service fluid inlet of the second service fluid tank. At least one of the first opening and the second opening has a filler neck that extends from the housing wall in at least one direction and is configured as a connector for a service fluid line.

Claims

1. A cover for a service fluid tank arrangement having a first service fluid tank and a second service fluid tank, the cover comprising:

a housing having a housing wall through which a first opening and a second opening extend, the first opening being configured to be connected to a service fluid inlet of the first service fluid tank and the second opening being configured to be connected to a service fluid inlet of the second service fluid tank, wherein at least one of the first opening and the second openings has a filler neck that extends from the housing wall in at least one direction and is configured as a connector for a service fluid line.

2. The cover according to claim 1, wherein the connector is configured as a detachable plug-in coupling or hose nozzle.

3. The cover according to claim 1, wherein the filler neck is formed integrally with the cover.

4. The cover according to claim 1, wherein the cover is made of plastic.

5. The cover according to claim 1, wherein the first opening has the filler neck and the second opening has another filler neck that is configured as another connector for another service fluid line.

6. The cover according to claim 1, wherein the housing wall comprises more than one wall.

7. The cover according to claim 6, wherein the housing wall is at least partially filled with foam.

8. A service fluid tank system, comprising:

a first service fluid tank and a second service fluid tank; and

a cover according to claim 1,

wherein the service fluid inlet of the first service fluid tank is connected to the first opening, and the service fluid inlet of the second service fluid tank is connected to the second opening.

9. The service fluid tank system according to claim 8, wherein an interior of the housing wall having the connector is adapted to a contour of at least one of the service fluid tanks in such a way that the cover is positively held on the at least one service fluid tanks.

10. The service fluid tank system according to claim 8, wherein the cover is configured in such a way that it at least partially covers the first and the second service fluid tanks and positions the first and the second service fluid tanks relative to each other.
