1. A system for digital drawing, comprising:
- a touch-sensitive device to detect a position and a force for an input event and generate input data indicative of the position and the force; and
a processor coupled to the touch-sensitive device to;
receive the input data and generate digital ink data having a position based on the input data indicative of the position and having a digital ink characteristic based on the input data indicative of the force when the force of the input event is above a predetermined threshold; and
alter the position of a drawing cursor in response to a change in the position of the input event.

The processor receives the input data and generates digital ink data having a position based on the input data indicative of the position and having a digital ink characteristic based on the input data indicative of the force when the force for the input event is above a predetermined threshold. The processor also alters the position of a drawing cursor in response to a change in the position of the input event.
