Abstract

A motor vehicle door lock housing comprising at least one outwardly facing recess (2) for receiving electric strip conductors (3) and with passages (4) in the recess (2) for connecting the strip conductors (3) to the housing interior, wherein the strip conductors (3) together with at least one strip conductor board (6) carrying the latter can be placed in the recess (2).

Claims

1. A motor vehicle door lock housing comprising:

at least one outwardly facing recess (2) for receiving electric strip conductors (3) and with passages (4) in the recess (2) for connecting the strip conductors (3) to the housing interior, wherein the strip conductors (3) together with at least one strip conductor board (6) carrying the latter can be placed in the recess (2).

2. The motor vehicle door lock housing according to claim 1, wherein the strip conductor board (6) contains feet (7) on the housing side.

3. The motor vehicle door lock housing according to claim 2, wherein the feet (7) on the housing side are designed as strip conductor extensions (7) and each extend through individual passages (4).

4. The motor vehicle door lock housing according to claim 2, wherein the feet (7) on the housing side engage in plug receptacles (15) in the housing interior.

5. The motor vehicle door lock housing according to claim 1, wherein the recess (2) contains one or several supports (9) for the strip conductor board (6).

6. The motor vehicle door lock housing according to claim 5, wherein the support(s) (9) are designed as a continuous frame (9) and are provided on an edge of the recess (2).

7. The motor vehicle door lock housing according to claim 5, wherein the support (9) is of a height (H₁), which together with the height (H₂) of the strip conductor board (6) possibly containing components corresponds to or is smaller than a depth (T) of the recess (2).

8. The motor vehicle door lock housing according to claim 1, wherein the strip conductor board (6) including the strip conductors (3) and any electric/electronic components (8) defines a preassembled subassembly (6, 7, 8).

9. The motor vehicle door lock housing according to claim 1, wherein the passages (4) in the recess (2) define a hole pattern (13) adapted in each case to the strip conductor board (6) inserted in the recess (2).

10. The motor vehicle door lock housing according to claim 1, wherein the recess (2) is designed for receiving different strip conductor boards (6).

11. The motor vehicle door lock housing according to claim 1, wherein each strip conductor board (6) insertable in the recess (2) corresponds to its own strip conductor board hole pattern (13).

12. The motor vehicle door lock housing according to claim 11, wherein all strip conductor board hole patterns (13) correspond to a universal hole pattern (14) in the recess (2).

13. The motor vehicle door lock housing according to claim 1, wherein the recess (2) together with the inserted strip conductor board (6) is sealed by means of a casting compound (10).
