Abstract

In the present invention, a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource, which is used for transmitting acknowledgement/negative ACK (ACK/NACK) information related to downlink control information, is determined on the basis of n⁽¹⁾_PUCCH=f(n_CCE,N⁽¹⁾_PUCCH,X), when the format of the downlink control information that is transmitted/received through a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) is in accordance with a transmission mode of a user equipment, wherein n⁽¹⁾_PUCCH is a PUCCH resource index, N⁽¹⁾_PUCCH is a value which is received from the base station, n_CCE is a first control channel element (CCE) index in the PDCCH, X is a parameter which is not the n_CCE and the N⁽¹⁾_PUCCH, and wherein ƒ is a function having the n_CCE, N⁽¹⁾_PUCCH, and the X as a factor.

Claims

1. A method for transmitting an uplink signal to a base station by a user equipment in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:

receiving downlink control information from the base station through a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH); and

transmitting acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) information associated with the downlink control information to the base station,

wherein, when a format of the downlink control information is a first format according to a transmission mode of the user equipment, the ACK/NACK information is transmitted using a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource determined based on Equation 1,

where n⁽¹⁾_PUCCH is a PUCCH resource index, N⁽¹⁾_PUCCH is a value received from the base station, n_CCE is an index of a first control channel element (CCE) in the PDCCH, X is a parameter other than n_CCE and N⁽¹⁾_PUCCH, and ƒ

is a function having n_CCE, N⁽¹⁾_PUCCH, and X as arguments.

2. The method according to claim 1, further comprising:

receiving a value corresponding to X.

3. The method according to claim 2, wherein X corresponds to an index of a start PUCCH resource among PUCCH resources configured for the first format.

4. The method according to claim 1, further comprising:

receiving information indicating the transmission mode from the base station.

The method according to claim 1, wherein, when the format of the downlink control information is a second format rather than the first format, the ACK/NACK information is transmitted using at least one of a PUCCH resource determined based on Equation 2 and a PUCCH resource determined based on Equation 3,

6. The method according to claim 1, wherein ƒ

is a function for mapping M (where M is a positive integer) CCEs to N (where N is a positive integer less than M) PUCCH resources.

7. A user equipment for transmitting an uplink signal to a base station in a wireless communication system, the user equipment comprising:

a radio frequency (RF) unit configured to transmit/receive a signal; and

a processor configured to control the RF unit,

wherein the processor controls the RF unit to receive downlink control information from the base station through a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) and controls the RF unit to transmit acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) information associated with the downlink control information to the base station, and

wherein, when a format of the downlink control information is a first format according to a transmission mode of the user equipment, the processor controls the RF unit to transmit the ACK/NACK information using a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource determined based on Equation 1,

8. The user equipment according to claim 7, wherein the processor controls the RF unit to further receive a value corresponding to X.

9. The user equipment according to claim 8, wherein X corresponds to an index of a start PUCCH resource among PUCCH resources configured for the first format.

10. The user equipment according to claim 7, wherein the processor controls the RF unit to further receive information indicating the transmission mode from the base station.

The user equipment according to claim 7, wherein, when the format of the downlink control information is a second format rather than the first format, processor controls the RF unit to transmit the ACK/NACK information using at least one of a PUCCH resource determined based on Equation 2 and a PUCCH resource determined based on Equation 3,

12. The user equipment according to claim 7, wherein ƒ

13. A method for receiving an uplink signal from a user equipment by a base station in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:

transmitting downlink control information to the user equipment through a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH); and

receiving acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) information associated with the downlink control information from the user equipment,

wherein, when a format of the downlink control information is a first format according to a transmission mode of the user equipment, the ACK/NACK information is received using a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource determined based on Equation 1,

a radio frequency (RF) unit configured to transmit/receive a signal; and

a processor configured to control the RF unit,

wherein the processor controls the RF unit to transmit downlink control information to the user equipment through a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) and controls the RF unit to receive acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) information associated with the downlink control information from the user equipment, and

wherein, when a format of the downlink control information is a first format according to a transmission mode of the user equipment, the processor controls the RF unit to receive the ACK/NACK information using a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource determined based on Equation 1,
