1. A noise-suppressing ECG adapter, comprising:

  • a housing having a first end and a second end;

    at least one first connector disposed at the first end of the housing, the at least one first connector adapted for operably coupling to a proximal end of ECG lead set;

    at least one second connector disposed at the second end of the housing, the at least one second connector adapted for coupling to an input of an ECG device;

    a noise suppression element disposed within the housing, the noise suppression element including one of a ferromagnetic element and an electromagnet having an opening defined therein; and

    at least one conductor operably coupling the first connector and the second connector and passing through the opening of the one of the ferromagnetic element and the electromagnet.
