receiving the request for a traffic condition from a multi-media module installed on a vehicle; determining a location of the vehicle; receiving a user input, and determining an intended route for the vehicle based on the user input; accessing a traffic detection server, and obtaining traffic data from the traffic detection server; analyzing the traffic data in order to determine a traffic condition detected by the traffic detection server, and transmitting the determined traffic condition to the multi-media module.
