1. A battery cell assembly, comprising:
- a cooling plate;
a cooling fin having first and second plate portions and a first thermally conductive layer;
the first and second plate portions being coupled to one another and extending longitudinally along a central axis, the first plate portion having a first thickness, the second plate portion having a second thickness greater than the first thickness, the first thermally conductive layer disposed on a first outer surface of the first plate portion, the cooling fin configured to thermally communicate with the cooling plate; and
a first battery cell disposed against the first thermally conductive layer and the second plate portion of the cooling fin.
