Abstract

Systems and methods for providing content using dynamic action templates are provided. A method for providing content to at least one user, comprises corresponding at least one action to at least one action template, associating the content with the at least one action, and presenting the content to the at least one user, wherein the at least one action template is appended to the content.

Claims

1. A system for providing content to at least one user, comprising:

a management module capable of corresponding at least one action to at least one action template, associating the content with the at least one action, and appending the at least one action template to the content; and

a choreograph engine routing the content including the at least one action template appended thereto to an electronic device of the at least one user.

2. The system of claim 1, wherein the content includes at least one of a webpage, a textual document or a spreadsheet.

3. The system of claim 1, wherein the management module is capable of displaying the at least one action template via a user interface to allow a designer to customize at least one field of the at least one action template.

4. The system of claim 3, further comprising a handler module, wherein:

the at least one field comprises a destination,

the handler module is capable of receiving a response from the at least one user inputted via the at least one action template, and

the handler module is capable of sending the response to the destination.

5. The system of claim 1, further comprising a handler module, wherein:

the handler module is capable of receiving a first response from the at least one user inputted via the at least one action template,

the management module, without modifying the content, appends at least one other action template different from the at least one action template to the content, wherein the at least one other action template solicits a different response from the first response, and

the choreograph engine routes the content including the at least one other action template appended thereto to an electronic device of at least one other user.

6. The system of claim 1, further comprising a handler module, wherein:

the handler module is capable of receiving a response from the at least one user inputted via the at least one action template, and forwarding the response to a destination to trigger a business process.

7. The system of claim 1, wherein:

the management module appends at least one other action template different from the at least one action template to the content without modifying the content; and

the choreograph engine routes the unmodified content with the at least one other action template appended thereto to an electronic device of at least one other user.

8. The system of claim 1, wherein the management module associates the content with the at least one action by activating the at least one action from a plurality of actions.

9. The system of claim 1, wherein the electronic device is a mobile device capable of receiving and sending electronic communications over a network.

10. An article of manufacture comprising a computer readable storage medium comprising program code tangibly embodied thereon, which when executed by a computer, performs method steps for providing content to at least one user, the method steps comprising:

corresponding at least one action to at least one action template;

associating the content with the at least one action; and

presenting the content to the at least one user, wherein the at least one action template is appended to the content.
