Abstract

An upper turning body is mounted on a lower travelling body to be capable of turning. An attachment is arranged in the upper turning body. A power storage device is arranged in the upper turning body together with the attachment. A discharge current from the power storage device drives electric parts. The power storage device has a housing in which a first flow path for coolant'"'"'s flow is formed. A power storage module is arranged inside the housing. The power storage module includes stacked power storage cells, and the power storage cells are thermally coupled to the first flow path. The housing includes a lower housing and an upper housing. The first flow path is formed in one of a bottom panel of the lower housing and an upper panel of the upper housing.

Claims

1. A shovel comprising:

a lower travelling body;

an upper turning body that is pivotally mounted on the lower travelling body;

an attachment that is arranged in the upper turning body;

a power storage device that is arranged in the upper turning body together with the attachment; and

an electric part that is driven by a discharge power from the power storage device,

wherein the power storage device comprises;

a housing in which a first flow path for coolant'"'"'s flow is formed;

a power storage module which is arranged inside the housing, and includes a plurality of power storage cells which are stacked on one another and each of the power storage cells is thermally coupled to the first flow path;

an electrical component accommodated in the housing and connected to the power storage module; and

a connector mounted to the housing, the power storage module being connected to an external electrical circuit via the connector, and

wherein the housing includes;

a lower housing which includes a bottom panel and side panels extending upward from edges of the bottom panel, the lower housing are opened upward; and

an upper housing includes an upper panel facing the bottom panel, the upper housing and the lower housing forms a space which is hermetically isolated from an outside, and the power storage module and the electrical component are accommodated in the space, and

wherein the first flow path is formed in one panel of the bottom panel and the upper panel.

2. The shovel according to claim 1,

wherein the housing further comprises a second flow path which is formed in the other panel of the bottom panel and the upper panel, the other panel not having the first flow path therein, and

wherein the power storage cells are thermally coupled to the second flow path, and

wherein the housing comprises a pressurizing mechanism generating a force acting in a direction in which the bottom panel and the upper panel get closer to each other, and the power storage module is interposed by the force acting in the direction in which the bottom panel and the upper panel get closer to each other.

3. The shovel according to claim 2,

wherein the power storage module comprises a plurality of heat transfer plates arranged between the power storage cells, and the heat transfer plates are thermally coupled to the bottom panel and the upper panel via end surfaces thereof, and

wherein the force acting in a direction in which the bottom panel and the upper panel get closer to each other improves heat transfer efficiency between the heat transfer plates and the bottom panel, and between the heat transfer plates and the upper panel.

4. The shovel according to claim 1,

wherein the other panel of the bottom panel and the upper panel, the other panel not having the first flow path therein, comprises:

a first member having a groove configuring the first flow path on an outer surface of the first member; and

a second member covering the outer surface of the first member and closing an opening of the groove to configure the first flow path.

5. The shovel according to claim 1,

wherein the power storage module is accommodated inside the housing so as not to be slidable with respect to the housing, and

wherein the housing is attached to the upper turning body via a vibration control device.

12. The shovel according to claim 1,

wherein the power storage module includes a first power storage module in which the plurality of power storage cells are stacked on one another and a second power storage module in which other plurality of power storage cells are stacked on one another,

wherein the first power storage module and the second power storage module are arranged side by side inside the housing so that stacked directions of the plurality of power storage cells are parallel to each other, and

wherein the power storage module further comprises a fuse, the plurality of power storage cells being connected via the fuse.

13. The shovel according to claim 1, further comprising:

a connector box that is arranged on the side panel and has an opened portion, and

wherein the connector closes the opened portion.

14. The shovel according to claim 13, further comprising:

an opening that is arranged on the side panel; and

a relay circuit accommodated in the housing, the connector and the power storage module being connected via the relay circuit,

wherein the connector box is provided on an outer surface of the side panel and closes the opening.

15. The shovel according to claim 1, wherein the power storage module comprises pushing plates which are respectively arranged at both ends of a stacked body of the power storage cells and applies compressive force acting in the stacked direction to the stacked body.

6. A shovel comprising:

a lower travelling body;

an upper turning body that is pivotally mounted on the lower travelling body;

an attachment that is arranged in the upper turning body;

a power storage device that is arranged in the upper turning body together with the attachment; and

an electric part that is driven by a discharge power from the power storage device,

wherein the power storage device comprises;

a housing having a first wallboard in which a first flow path for coolant'"'"'s flow is formed; and

a power storage module which is arranged inside the housing and includes a plurality of power storage cells which are stacked on one another and each of the power storage cells is thermally coupled to the first flow path, and

wherein the first flow path meanders on a plane of the first wallboard, and includes a first section making a coolant flow in a first direction, a second section into which the coolant flowing through the first section enters, and a third section into which the coolant flowing through the second section enters, the second section making the entered coolant flow in a second direction opposite to the first direction, the third section making the entered coolant flow in the first direction, and each of the first section, the second section and the third section includes a plurality of auxiliary flow paths divided in a width direction; and

wherein a meandering part of the first flow path overlaps the power storage module in planar view, and

wherein the plurality of auxiliary flow paths belonging to the second section are classified into a first group and a second group, the auxiliary flow paths belonging to the first group are closer to the first section than the auxiliary flow paths belonging to the second group, the auxiliary flow paths belonging to the second group are closer to the third section than the auxiliary flow paths belonging to the first group, a gap between the auxiliary flow path belonging to the first group and the auxiliary flow path belonging to the second group is wider than both of a gap between the first section and the second section and a gap between the second section and the third section.

7. The shovel according to claim 6,

wherein the first flow path includes an expansion path, width of which is broadened from an upstream side toward a downstream side;

the first section of the first flow path connects a downstream end of the expansion path; and

wherein the plurality of auxiliary flow paths are separated from one another by a plurality of diaphragms disposed in the first flow path, and an upstream side end portion of a central wall among the plurality of the diaphragms, the central wall being disposed at a center, is placed on a further upstream side than an upstream side end portion of the diaphragms other than the central wall.

8. The shovel according to claim 7, wherein the upstream end portion of the central wall is arranged so as to enter into the expansion path.

9. The shovel according to claim 8, wherein the upstream end portions of the diaphragms other than the central wall are arranged so as to enter into the expansion path.

10. The shovel according to claim 9, wherein in the expansion path, the diaphragms other than the central wall are tilted so as to get closer to the central wall toward an upstream side with respect to an extending direction of the central wall.

11. The shovel according to claim 7,

wherein the first flow path further includes:

an introducing path disposed to be connected to an upstream end of the expansion path; and

a plurality of partition plates which are arranged in a downstream end of the introducing path and divide a downstream side end portion of the introducing path in a width direction thereof.
