Abstract
A multi-component profile is determined for a person. The profile is determined from the analysis of empirical data gather by the person'"'"'s own digital devices which are used as surveillance devices. Several uses are given for the profile derived and for the PProfile System. One of these uses creates an augmented reality environment for personal interactions.

a communication unit; -
a processing unit; and a storage unit; wherein the computer system is configured by software to perform a process for identifying an instance of a particular type of behavior exhibited by a person, the process comprising; receiving instances of empirical data associated with the person; for at least a particular instance of empirical data of the received instances of empirical data, identifying which of the other received instances of empirical data are relevant to the particular instance of empirical data; correlating the particular instance of empirical data with the other received instances of empirical data that are identified as relevant to the particular instance of empirical data; and identifying an instance of a particular type of behavior exhibited by the person by analyzing at least one of the particular instance of empirical data and the other received instances of empirical data that are correlated with the particular instance of empirical data. - View Dependent Claims (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20)

a communication unit; -
a processing unit; and a storage unit; wherein the computer system is configured by software to perform a process for identifying an instance of a particular type of behavior exhibited by a person, the process comprising; receiving instances of empirical data associated with the person; for at least a particular instance of empirical data of the received instances of empirical data, identifying which of the other received instances of empirical data are relevant to the particular instance of empirical data; correlating the particular instance of empirical data with the other received instances of empirical data that are identified as relevant to the particular instance of empirical data; and identifying an instance of a particular type of behavior exhibited by the person by analyzing at least one of the particular instance of empirical data and the other received instances of empirical data that are correlated with the particular instance of empirical data; wherein identifying relevant instances of empirical data comprises; identifying empirical-data items for each of the received instances of empirical data; archiving the identified empirical-data items for each of the received instances of empirical data; for a particular empirical-data item of the particular instance of empirical data, searching an instance-specific list (INSP list) to determine if the particular empirical-data item appears in it; wherein the INSP list comprises an assemblage of empirical-data items that could appear in received instances of empirical data; and wherein the INSP list comprises, for each empirical-data item in the assemblage, an associated family of empirical-data items that are relevant to it; if the particular empirical-data item of the particular instance of empirical data appears in the INSP list, using at least one item in its associated family of empirical-data items to search the empirical-data items of at least one other instance of the received instances of empirical data for a match; and if the at least one item in this associated family of empirical-data items appears in the empirical-data items of any of the at least one other instance of the received instances of empirical data, identifying that one other instance of the received instances of empirical data as relevant to the particular instance of empirical data. - View Dependent Claims (22)
