System And Method For Multi-User Control And Media Streaming To A Shared Display
First Claim
1. A method for simultaneously displaying, on a wirelessly enabled display, at least one media source from each of at least two source computers, the method comprising:
- wirelessly connecting two or more of the source computers to the display;
selecting, via each of the source computers, a respective media source;
wherein at least one of the media sources is a region of a screen displayed on a client display device connected to one of the source computers;
determining a transform, indicating translation magnitude and scale based on settings of a user input device, for each of the media sources, indicating the location and size, on the display, of each said media source;
transmitting each of the selected media sources to the display as a respective live media stream; and
simultaneously rendering, on the display, each of the transmitted media sources, using the transform to determine a current geometric state of each of the respective media sources.

Abstract
A system and method for simultaneously displaying, on a wirelessly enabled display connected to two or more of the source computers to display at least one media source from each of at least two source computers. A media source is selected, via each of the source computers. The media source is less than the entire image on the source client computer, and may constitute client data file, an application, or a video stream. Each of the selected media sources is transmitted to the display as a respective live media stream and each of the transmitted media streams is simultaneously rendered on the display.

7. A method for simultaneously displaying, on a wirelessly enabled display, at least one media source from each of at least two source computers, the method comprising:
-
sending, from each of the source computers to a server, a request to publish a media post comprising a region of a screen displayed on a client display device connected to one of the source computers; receiving the request for the media post; associating the new media post with a unique user ID; creating a decoded media stream including media post updates from one of the source computers; sending the decoded media stream, including the media post, to each of the source computers, based on the corresponding unique user ID; receiving the decoded media stream with the media post; updating the media post on the display; capturing a media frame displayed by one of the source computers by capturing screen pixels corresponding to an image being published; and displaying updated video in the corresponding media post. - View Dependent Claims (8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13)
