Abstract

A system is provided for using data based on user habit information or user monitoring. A monitoring device has one or more sensors that detect or measure user information selected from of at least one of, a user'"'"'s activities, behaviors and habit information, and a user'"'"'s health. The monitoring device includes circuitry that provides at least identification of the monitoring device, a communication system which reads and transmits an identification of the monitoring device, and a pathway system. A telemetry system is provided with a database of user ID'"'"'s and is in communication with the monitoring device. A device determines a user'"'"'s melanin level at a place where the monitoring device is positioned on the user. The user'"'"'s melanin level is used with monitoring or measuring information relative to the user.

Claims

1. A system for using data based on user habit information or user monitoring, comprising:

a monitoring device with one or more sensors that detect or measure user information selected from of at least one of, a user'"'"'s activities, behaviors and habit information, and a user'"'"'s health, the monitoring device including circuitry that provides at least identification of the monitoring device, a communication system which reads and transmits an identification of the monitoring device, and a pathway system;

a telemetry system with a database of user ID'"'"'s and in communication with the monitoring device; and

a device for determining a user'"'"'s melanin level at a place where the monitoring device is positioned on the user, wherein the user'"'"'s melanin level is used with monitoring or measuring information relative to the user.

2. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

an activity manager that associates one or more contexts of a user activity or health.

3. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

a feedback control system or subsystem that analyzes a measured sensor signal from at least one of the sensors and in response provides a feedback signal or alert to the user.

4. The system of claim 3, wherein the feedback control system or subsystem is at the telemetry system.

5. The system of claim 3, wherein the feedback control system or subsystem is at the monitoring device.

6. The system of claim 3, wherein the feedback control system or subsystem is standalone.

7. The system of claim 1, wherein the monitoring device in operation communicates a feedback signal or alert to the user.

8. The system of claim 1, further comprising:

at least one of a audio device or display at the monitoring system to communicate a feedback to the user.

The system of claim 1, wherein a feedback signal or alert is selected from at least one of, lifestyle parameters, medical conditions, lifestyle events, exercise parameters, battery of the monitoring device, sensor function, pending therapy delivery, medical alerts, a status of a medical condition and a medical measurement or parameter.

10. The system of claim 1, wherein the device for determining the user'"'"'s melanin level is used to adjust a measured sensor signal from a sensor.

11. The system of claim 1, wherein an operation or measurements or actions taken relative to the sensors is adjusted in accordance with a level of pigmentation measured.

12. The system of claim 1, wherein the device for determining the user'"'"'s amount of melanin is a light intensity sensing device

13. The system of claim 12, wherein the device for determining the user'"'"'s amount of melanin uses spectral reflectance of the skin.

14. The system of claim 1, wherein a concentration of a type of melanin is done using Monte Carlo simulation.

15. The system of claim 1, wherein a melanin index of a skin is determined.

16. The system of claim 1, wherein the melanin index is determining by measuring a light absorption rate.

17. The system of claim 1, wherein the device for determining the user'"'"'s amount of melanin includes a light receiving chip.

18. The system of claim 17, wherein the device for determining the user'"'"'s amount of melanin includes one or more light emitting chips.

19. The system of claim 18, wherein the one or ore light emitting chips are mounted to a circuit board.

31. The device of claim 1, wherein the monitoring device includes circuitry that provides at least identification of the monitoring device, a communication system which reads and transmits an identification of the monitoring device, and a pathway system.

32. The device of claim 1, wherein the device is in communication with a telemetry system

20. A wearable monitoring device that uses user habit information or user monitoring, comprising:

a monitoring device structure;

one or more sensors at the monitoring device structure that detect or measure user information; and

a device for determining a user'"'"'s melanin level at a place where the monitoring device is positioned on the user, wherein the user'"'"'s melanin level is used with monitoring or measuring information relative to the user.

22. The device of claim 20, wherein the device for determining the user'"'"'s amount of melanin is a light intensity sensing device

23. The device of claim 22, wherein the device for determining the user'"'"'s amount of melanin uses spectral reflectance of the skin.

24. The device of claim 20, wherein a concentration of a type of melanin is done using Monte Carlo simulation.

27. The device of claim 20, wherein the device for determining the user'"'"'s amount of melanin includes a light receiving chip.

28. The device of claim 27, wherein the device for determining the user'"'"'s amount of melanin includes one or more light emitting chips.

29. The device of claim 28, wherein the one or more light emitting chips are mounted to a circuit board.

30. The device of claim 20, wherein the information is selected from of at least one of, a user'"'"'s activities, behaviors and habit information, and a user'"'"'s health.

21. The device of claim 21, wherein an operation or measurements or actions taken relative to the sensors is adjusted in accordance with a level of pigmentation measured.

25. The device of claim 21, wherein a melanin index of a skin is determined.

26. The device of claim 25, wherein the melanin index is determining by measuring a light absorption rate
