- presenting recorded secondary video content in the PIP window while presenting primary video content in a main area of the display element, resulting in PIP video content;
receiving a trick play command for the PIP video content; and
manipulating presentation of the PIP video content in the PIP window in accordance with the received trick play command and while presenting the primary video content in the main area of the display element, resulting in manipulated PIP video content.
