- detecting a user touch on the display via a graphical user interface;
generating a lens animation effect in a region of content based on the user touch, wherein the lens animation effect at least magnifies the region of content shown on the display by a magnification level that depends on a duration of the user touch; and
displaying the lens animation effect on the display adjacent to a location of the user touch.
