Abstract

A method for processing an image using an electronic device is provided. The method includes displaying at least one first object and a first image associated with the at least one first object at a first position on a display unit connected to the electronic device, the at least one first object including information representing a direction of the electronic device, displaying at least one second object and a second image associated with the at least one second object at a second position on the display unit, and capturing at least a portion of the second image when the at least one first object is located within a distance from the at least one second object.

Claims

1. A method in an electronic device, the method comprising:

displaying at least one first object and a first image associated with the at least one first object at a first position on a display unit connected to the electronic device, the at least one first object including information representing a direction of the electronic device;

displaying at least one second object and a second image associated with the at least one second object at a second position on the display unit; and

capturing at least a portion of the second image when the at least one first object is located within a distance from the at least one second object.

2. The method of claim 1, further comprising generating a third image including at least a portion of the first image and at least a portion of the second image.

3. The method of claim 2, wherein the generating of the third image comprises acquiring at least a portion of the first image from a storage device.

4. The method of claim 2, wherein the generating of the third image comprises capturing at least a portion of the first image and at least a portion of the second image at a same time.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the at least one first object includes at least a part of a contour adjacent to an edge of the first image, and

wherein the at least one second object includes a contour of the second image.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein the displaying of the at least one second object comprises displaying the at least one second object in at least one of a square shape and a honeycomb shape.

7. The method of claim 1, wherein the displaying of the at least one second object comprises displaying at least one of a direction and a position of the at least one second object using the at least one first object.

8. The method of claim 7, wherein displaying of at least one of the direction and the position of the at least one second object comprises displaying at least one of the direction and the location by using at least one of a shape, color, size, and transparency of the at least one first object.

9. The method of claim 1, further comprising changing the first image according to movement of the electronic device after displaying the first image.

10. The method of claim 1, further comprising changing the second image according to movement of the electronic device after displaying the second image.

11. The method of claim 1, wherein displaying of the at least one first object and the first image comprises:

identifying a color of an area in which the at least one first object is displayable in the first image,

determining a color of the at least one first object in consideration of the color of the area in which the at least one first object is displayable, and

displaying the first image including the at least one first object having the determined color.

12. The method of claim 1, wherein the at least one first object includes information about a number of images which are to be captured in at least one direction.

13. The method of claim 1, wherein the displaying of the at least one second object comprises displaying the at least one second object indicating a position for image capture in a direction of movement of the electronic device when the movement of the electronic device is detected.

14. A method in an electronic device, the method comprising:

displaying a first image at a first position on a display unit connected to the electronic device;

displaying a second object at a second position on the display unit; and

capturing at least a portion of the first image when the first image is located within a distance from the second object.

15. The method of claim 14, further comprising changing the first image according to movement of the electronic device after the displaying of the first image.

16. The method of claim 14, further comprising displaying at least one direction in which the electronic device is moveable for image capture after the displaying of the first image.

17. The method of claim 14, wherein the second object includes a contour of an area for image capture.

18. The method of claim 14, wherein the displaying of the second object comprises:

detecting movement of the electronic device after the displaying of the first image; and

displaying the second object at a second position of the display unit according to a direction of the movement of the electronic device.

19. The method of claim 18, further comprising displaying the direction of the electronic device on the display unit after detection of the movement of the electronic device.

20. A method for processing an image using an electronic device, the method comprising:

displaying at least one first object and a first image associated with the at least one first object at a first position on a display unit connected to the electronic device, the at least one first object including information representing a direction of the electronic device;

displaying at least one second object at a second position on the display; and

capturing at least a portion of a second image associated with the at least one second object when the at least one first object is located within a distance from the at least one second object.

21. The method of claim 20, wherein the at least one first object includes at least a part of a contour adjacent to an edge of the first image, and

wherein the at least one second object includes a contour of the second image.

22. An electronic device comprising:

a display unit configured to display an image;

a display control unit configured to control displaying of at least one first object and a first image associated with the at least one first object at a first position on the display unit, and to control displaying of at least one second object and a second image associated with the at least one second object at a second position on the display, the at least one first object including information representing a direction of the electronic device; and

a capture control unit configured to capture at least a portion of the second image when the at least one first object is located within a distance from the at least one second object.

23. The electronic device of claim 22, further comprising an image generation unit configured to generate a third image including at least a portion of the first image and at least a portion of the second image.

24. The electronic device of claim 23, wherein the image generation unit is configured to generate the third image including at least a portion of the first image acquired from a storage device and at least a portion of the second image.

25. The electronic device of claim 23, wherein the image generation unit is configured to generate the third image including at least a portion of the first image and at least a portion of the second image, and

wherein the first image and the second image are simultaneously captured by the capture control unit.

26. The electronic device of claim 22, wherein the at least one first object includes at least a part of a contour adjacent to an edge of the first image, and

wherein the at least one second object includes a contour of the second image.

27. The electronic device of claim 22, wherein the display control unit in configured to control displaying of the at least one second object in at least one of a square shape and a honeycomb shape.

28. The electronic device of claim 22, wherein the display control unit is configured to control displaying of at least one of a direction and a position of the at least one second object using the at least one first object.

29. The electronic device of claim 28, wherein the display control unit in configured to control displaying of at least one of the direction and the location by using at least one of a shape, color, size, and transparency of the at least one first object.

30. The electronic device of claim 22, wherein the display control unit is configured to change and display the first image according to movement of the electronic device after displaying the first image.

31. The electronic device of claim 22, wherein the display control unit is configured to change and display the second image according to movement of the electronic device after displaying the second image.

32. The electronic device of claim 22, wherein the display control unit is configured to identify a color of an area in which the at least one first object is displayable in the first image and to display the first image including the at least one first object having a color determined in consideration of the color of the area in which the at least one first object is displayable.

33. The electronic device of claim 22, wherein the at least one first object includes information about a number of images which are to be captured in at least one direction.

34. The electronic device of claim 22, wherein the display control unit is configured to display the at least one second object indicating a position for image capture in a direction of movement of the electronic device when the movement of the electronic device is detected.

35. An electronic device comprising:

a display unit configured to display an image;

a control unit configured to control displaying of a first image at a first position on a display unit connected to the electronic device and to control displaying of a second object at a second position on the display unit; and

a capture control unit configured to capture at least a portion of the first image when the first image is located within a distance from the second object.

36. The electronic device of claim 35, wherein the display control unit is configured to changes the first image according to movement of the electronic device after the displaying of the first image.

37. The electronic device of claim 35, wherein the display control unit is configured to display at least one direction in which the electronic device is moveable for image capture after the displaying of the first image.

38. The electronic device of claim 35, wherein the second object includes a contour of an area for image capture.

39. The electronic device of claim 35, wherein the display control unit is configured to detect movement of the electronic device after the displaying of the first image, and is configured to display the second object at a second position on the display unit according to a direction of the movement of the electronic device.

40. The electronic device of claim 39, wherein the display control unit is configured to display the direction of the electronic device on the display unit after detection of the movement of the electronic device.

41. An electronic device comprising:

a display unit configured to display an image;

a display control unit configured to control displaying of at least one first object and a first image associated with the first object at a first position on a display unit connected to the electronic device, and configured to control displaying of at least one second object at a second position on the display, the at least one first object including information representing a direction of the electronic device; and

a capture control unit configured to capture at least a portion of the second image associated with the second object when the first object is located within a distance from the second object.

42. The electronic device of claim 41, wherein the first object includes at least a part of a contour adjacent to an edge of the first image, and

wherein the second object includes a contour of the second image.
