Abstract

Methods for wireless communications based on relay and apparatuses for the same are disclosed. The method for a terminal to transmit signals comprises receiving scheduling information from a base station connected to the terminal; generating uplink data based on the scheduling information; performing punctuation on a data symbol positioned in a region through a downlink synchronization signal is transmitted in the generated uplink data; and transmitting the punctured uplink data. Therefore, the terminal may acquire synchronization signal easily, and perform neighbor cell search correctly based on the acquired synchronization signal.

Claims

1. A method for a terminal to transmit signals in a communication system including a central base station and at least one relay base station, the method comprising:

receiving scheduling information from a base station connected to the terminal;

generating uplink data based on the scheduling information;

performing puncturing on data symbols positioned in a region through a downlink synchronization signal is transmitted in the generated uplink data; and

transmitting the punctured uplink data.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the terminal is connected to the central base station or the at least one relay base station, and the terminal uses a radio resource identical to a radio resource of a backhaul link between the connected base station and a lower relay base station for an access link to the connected base station.

The method of claim 1, wherein the central base station uses a first radio resource for a downlink to a first lower relay base station and a second radio resource for an uplink from the first lower relay base station, and the first lower relay base station uses the second radio resource for a downlink to a second lower relay base station and the first radio resource for an uplink from the second lower relay base station.

4. The method of claim 3, wherein, when the terminal is connected to the central base station, the terminal uses the first radio resource for a downlink from the central base station and the second radio resource for an uplink to the central base station.

5. The method of claim 3, wherein, when the terminal is connected to the first lower relay base station, the terminal uses the second radio resource for a downlink from the first lower relay base station and the first radio resource for an uplink to the first lower relay base station.

6. The method of claim 3, wherein, when the terminal is connected to the second lower relay base station, the terminal uses the first radio resource for a downlink from the second lower relay base station and the second radio resource for an uplink to the second lower relay base station.

7. The method of claim 3, wherein the first radio resource and the second radio resource are frequency resources when the communication system operates in a frequency division duplexing (FDD) manner.

8. The method of claim 3, wherein the first radio resource and the second radio resource are time resources when the communication system operates in a time division duplexing (TDD) manner.

9. The method of claim 1, wherein the downlink synchronization signal is transmitted from at least one of the central base station and the at least one relay base station.

10. The method of claim 1, wherein at least one of the central base station and the at least one relay base station uses an antenna having a switching beam structure.

11. A method for a terminal to transmit signal in a communication system including a central base station and at least one relay base station, the method comprising:

receiving scheduling information from a base station connected to the terminal;

allocating uplink data to radio resources except a region through a downlink synchronization signal is transmitted based on the scheduling information; and

transmitting the allocated uplink data.

12. The method of claim 11, wherein the terminal is connected to the central base station or the at least one relay base station, and the terminal uses a radio resource identical to a radio resource of a backhaul link between the connected base station and a lower relay base station for an access link to the connected base station.

13. The method of claim 11, wherein the downlink synchronization signal is transmitted from at least one of the central base station and the at least one relay base station.

14. The method of claim 11, wherein at least one of the central base station and the at least one relay base station uses an antenna having a switching beam structure.

15. A terminal connected to a central base station or a relay base station in a communication system including the central base station and at least one relay base station, the terminal comprising:

a processing part configuring a downlink between the terminal and a base station connected to the terminal by using radio resources identical to radio resources of a downlink between the connected base station and a lower relay base station, and configuring an uplink between the terminal and the connected base station by using radio resources identical to radio resources of an uplink between the connected base station and the lower base station; and

a storing part storing information processed and to be processed in the processing part.

The terminal of claim 15, wherein the central base station uses a first radio resource for a downlink to a first lower relay base station and a second radio resource for an uplink from the first lower relay base station, and the first relay base station uses a third radio resource for a downlink to a second lower relay base station and a fourth radio resource for an uplink from the second lower relay base station.

17. The terminal of claim 16, wherein, when the terminal is connected to the central base station, the terminal uses the first radio resource for a downlink from the central base station and the second radio resource for an uplink to the central base station.

18. The terminal of claim 16, wherein, when the terminal is connected to the first lower relay base station, the terminal uses the second radio resource for a downlink from the first lower relay base station and the first radio resource for an uplink to the first lower relay base station.

19. The terminal of claim 15, wherein the first, second, third and fourth radio resources are frequency resources when the communication system operates in a frequency division duplexing (FDD) manner.

20. The terminal of claim 15, wherein the first, second, third and fourth radio resources are time resources when the communication system operates in a time division duplexing (TDD) manner.
