wherein the hydrophilic polymer comprises from about 5 wt. % to about 30 wt. % of the enzyme domain.

The sensing membrane comprises an enzyme domain comprising an enzyme, a base polymer, and a hydrophilic polymer which makes up from about 5 wt. % to about 30 wt. % of the enzyme domain.
