1. A method of creating an inductive winding, comprising:
- a. Cutting a length of multiple conductor cable, to approximately the length of the desired perimeter of one coil of the winding;
b. Adding cable-appropriate connectors to the ends of the conductor cable;
c. Constructing a printed circuit board (“
PCB”
) comprising,
1) two connectors on the PCB so the cable connectors connect to the board,
2) conductive traces on the PCB that enable an input connection to the first pin of the first connector, and an output connector connected to the last pin of the second connector; and
3) a set of traces connecting the two cable connectors to form a single turn or multiple turns, based on the addition of a jumper that connects one or more turns.

Abstract
The invention is an induction-based lighting system designed to provide power to model displays and other similar application, including a method of manufacturing a primary winding that interacts with secondary windings placed inside display components to provide lighting effects, such as one finds in model Christmas villages. The electrical characteristics of the primary winding can be controlled by a microcontroller to make lights in the models blink or change as a user desires.
