1. A method comprising:
- receiving at a server a payment authorization request and payment credentials from a mobile device;
wherein the mobile device generates the payment authorization after calculating a total purchase amount and electronically receives purchase information including payment credentials from a user, the purchase information received by using a non-browser based payment application at the mobile device, the payment credentials associated with a credit card, debit card, or a prepaid card, the mobile device including a mobile device display, a mobile device processor, a mobile device radio transceiver configured to support voice and data interactions through a first communication channel, a mobile device wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) transceiver, and a mobile device memory configured to maintain the non browser based payment application;
receiving a request from the payment application for a digital artifact in response to a request from the payment application for the digital artifact for display within a specific payment application generated screen;
the payment application screen corresponding to a specific screen, scene, or real estate property,selecting the digital artifact based on correlating targeting parameters; and
sending the digital artifact to the payment application for display within the specific payment application generated screen after payment processing.

A method and system for conducting an online payment transaction through a point of sale device. The method includes receiving input from a user selecting an item for purchase through the point of sale device; calculating a total purchase amount for the item in response to a request from the user to purchase the item; and sending payment authorization for the total purchase amount from the point of sale device to a payment entity, in which the payment authorization is sent to the payment entity via a mobile communication device of the user. The method further includes receiving a result of the payment authorization from the payment entity through the mobile communication device; and completing the payment transaction based on the result of the payment authorization.
