retrieving and analyzing medical data from said database, using a processor, in a data search in response to a search query, said medical data being specific to one of said medical disciplines related to one of said major data categories on said patient; and

The present invention is related to a patient-specific referenceable database which can record and track medical data throughout the healthcare and provider networks, be customized to the individual needs and preferences of healthcare providers, and adapted to the specific context being performed. The computer-implemented method and a system includes: saving data in a data hierarchy, including major data categories, in a database; wherein the data includes primary data representing various medical disciplines, and including all current and historical medical diagnoses and other data on a patient; retrieving and analyzing medical data from the database, in a data search in response to a search query, the medical data being specific to one of the medical disciplines related to one of the major data categories on the patient; and displaying the patient medical data on a display for user review in accordance with the user'"'"'s electronic profile and preferences.
