Abstract

Photographing equipment includes an image pickup unit which picks up an image of an object to obtain a picked up image, a display unit which displays the picked up image, a portion determining unit which sets an inspection area at the picked up image displayed on the display unit, an analyzing unit which analyzes at least one of an image and a setting associated with the inspection area, and a search unit which obtains a factor of a defect of the image of the inspection area by referring to a database provided in advance using an analysis result of the analyzing unit.

Claims

1. Photographing equipment comprising:

an image pickup unit which picks up an image of an object to obtain a picked up image;

a display unit which displays the picked up image;

a portion determining unit which sets an inspection area in the picked up image displayed on the display unit;

an analyzing unit which analyzes at least one of an image and a setting associated with the inspection area; and

a search unit which obtains a factor of a defect of the image of the inspection area by referring to a database provided in advance using an analysis result of the analyzing unit.

2. The photographing equipment according to claim 1, further comprising a photographing assisting unit which provides display of operation assistance based on operation assistance information for solving the factor obtained by the search unit.

3. The photographing equipment according to claim 1, wherein the factor of the defect is a characteristic of the image to be solved by changing a setting of a photographing parameter.

4. The photographing equipment according to claim 2, wherein the factor of the defect is a characteristic of the image to be solved by changing a setting of a photographing parameter.

5. The photographing equipment according to claim 1, wherein the portion determining unit comprises:

a touch panel disposed on the display unit; and

an object detecting unit which detects an object in the picked up image.

6. The photographing equipment according to claim 2, wherein the portion determining unit comprises:

a touch panel disposed on the display unit; and

an object detecting unit which detects an object in the picked up image.

7. The photographing equipment according to claim 1, wherein the inspection area includes the whole image.

8. The photographing equipment according to claim 2, wherein the photographing assisting unit displays a setting screen of a corresponding photographing parameter through operation in response to the display of operation assistance.

9. The photographing equipment according to claim 3, wherein the characteristic of the image is a characteristic of a difference between a position in a screen where photographing control of the photographing equipment is performed and the inspection area.

10. A photographing assisting method comprising:

a step of picking up an image of an object to obtain a picked up image;

a step of displaying the picked up image;

a step of setting an inspection area in the displayed picked up image;

a step of analyzing at least one of an image and a setting associated with the inspection area to obtain an analysis result; and

a step of obtaining a factor of a defect of the image of the inspection area by referring to a database provided in advance using the analysis result.

11. A display apparatus comprising:

a display unit which displays an image;

a portion determining unit which sets an inspection area in a picked up image displayed on the display unit;

an analyzing unit which analyzes at least one of an image and a setting associated with the inspection area; and

a search unit which obtains a factor of a defect of the image of the inspection area by referring to a database using an analysis result of the analyzing unit.

12. A display method comprising:

a display step of displaying an image;

a portion determining step of setting an inspection area in a picked up image displayed in the display step;

an analyzing step of analyzing at least one of an image and a setting associated with the inspection area; and

a search step of obtaining a factor of a defect caused when the image of the inspection area is observed by referring to a database using an analysis result of the analyzing step to determine display information from the database.
