Abstract

An information processing device for managing information saved in a save location, including an authentication unit configured to manage first authentication information and second authentication information in association with each other, said first authentication information required to authenticate a client device requesting an operation relevant to the information, and said second authentication information required for authentication at said save location that saves the information; a save location monitor unit configured to monitor the information saved in the save location by using the second authentication information, and update index information of the information saved in the save location; and an information management unit configured to create a list of the information saved in the save location by using the index information of the information saved in the save location, and provide the list to the client device.

Claims

1. An information processing device for managing information saved in a save location, comprising:

an authentication unit configured to manage first authentication information and second authentication information in association with each other, said first authentication information required to authenticate a client device requesting an operation relevant to the information, and said second authentication information required for authentication at said save location that saves the information;

a save location monitor unit configured to monitor the information saved in the save location by using the second authentication information, and update index information of the information saved in the save location; and

an information management unit configured to create a list of the information saved in the save location by using the index information of the information saved in the save location, and provide the list to the client device.

2. The information processing device according to claim 1, wherein

after the client device is authenticated by the first authentication information, the save location monitor unit uses one or more of the second authentication information associated with the first authentication information to perform authentication with respect to one or more save locations saving the information, and updates the index information of the information saved in the save location.

3. The information processing device according to claim 2, wherein

the information management unit uses the index information of the information saved in the one or more save locations, to create the list of the information saved in the one or more save locations, and provides the list to the client device.

4. The information processing device according to claim 3, wherein

the information management unit uses the index information of the information saved in the save location that requires authentication by the second authentication information and in a save location that does not require authentication by the second authentication information, to create the list of the information saved in the save location that requires authentication by the second authentication information and in the save location that does not require authentication by the second authentication information, and provides the list to the client device.

5. The information processing device according to claim 1, wherein

the information management unit receives, from the client device, a search request to search for the information saved in the save location, searches, based on a search condition, for the information matching the search condition from the index information of the information, and provides a search result to the client device.

6. The information processing device according to claim 1, wherein

the information management unit receives, from the client device, a save request to save the information in the save location, and saves the information in the save location that requires authentication by the second authentication information or in a save location that does not require authentication by the second authentication information, based on a specification from the client device.

7. The information processing device according to claim 1, wherein

the information management unit receives, from the client device, a save request to save the information in the save location, selects one of the save locations from among the save location that requires authentication by the second authentication information or a save location that does not require authentication by the second authentication information, based on priority of the save location, and saves the information in the selected save location.

8. The information processing device according to claim 1, wherein

the information management unit receives, from the client device, an acquire request to acquire the information saved in the save location, and acquires the information from the save location that requires authentication by the second authentication information or a save location that does not require authentication by the second authentication information.

9. An information management method executed by an information processing device for managing information saved in a save location, the information management method comprising:

managing first authentication information and second authentication information in association with each other, said first authentication information required to authenticate a client device requesting an operation relevant to the information, and said second authentication information required for authentication at said save location that saves the information;

monitoring the information saved in the save location by using the second authentication information, and updating index information of the information saved in the save location; and

creating a list of the information saved in the save location by using the index information of the information saved in the save location, and providing the list to the client device.

An information processing system for managing information saved in a save location connected to the information processing system, the information processing system being constituted by a client device and an information processing device which are connected to each other, the information processing system comprising:

an authentication unit configured to manage first authentication information and second authentication information in association with each other, said first authentication information required to authenticate a client device requesting an operation relevant to the information, and said second authentication information required for authentication at said save location that saves the information;

a save location monitor unit configured to monitor the information saved in the save location by using the second authentication information, and update index information of the information saved in the save location; and

an information management unit configured to create a list of the information saved in the save location by using the index information of the information saved in the save location, and provide the list to the client device.
