- an adhesive layer configured to couple at least a portion of the device to the patient;
a sensor configured to collect sensor data from the patient;
a processor configured to evaluate the sensor data and to generate physiological data based in least in part on the sensor data;
at least one memory configured to store the physiological data, the physiological data comprising at least data representative of a physiological waveform; and
an interface configured to transmit at least some of the physiological data to a remote device, wherein the device is configured to operate independently from the remote device.
