Abstract

A diagnostic method for a control device of a motor vehicle with an electric propulsion motor, including: an electronic control unit (500); a data communication bus (Tx; Rx) connecting at least the electronic control unit (500) and a controller of the electric motor; and a controller (510) of the data communication bus (Tx; Rx); includes the following steps:

• • the disabling of the controller (510) of the data communication bus (Tx; Rx) by the electronic control unit (500),
  • the transmission by the electronic control unit of a signal frame on the data communication bus (Tx; Rx),
  • the reading by the electronic control unit of the signals traveling along the data communication bus (Tx; Rx), and
  • the issue of the positive safety diagnosis if the signal frame is not read by the electronic control unit.

Claims

1. Diagnostic method for a control device of a motor vehicle with an electric propulsion motor, comprising:

an electronic control unit (500),

a data communication bus (Tx;

Rx) connecting at least the electronic control unit (500) and a controller of the electric motor,

a controller (510) of the data communication bus (Tx;

Rx),

characterized in that it includes the following steps;

the disabling of the controller (510) of the data communication bus (Tx;

Rx) by the electronic control unit (500),

the transmission by the electronic control unit (500) of a signal frame on the data communication bus (Tx;

Rx), not corresponding to a standard frame of the protocol of the data communication bus (Tx;

Rx),

the reading by the electronic control unit (500) of the signals traveling along the data communication bus (Tx;

Rx),

the issue of the positive safety diagnosis if the signal frame is not read by the electronic control unit (500).

2. Method according to claim 1, characterized in that the signal frame is limited to a test bit.

3. Control device of a motor vehicle with an electric motor, including:

an electronic control unit (500),

a data communication bus (Tx;

Rx) connecting at least the electronic control unit (500) and a controller of the electric motor,

a controller (510) of the data communication bus (Tx;

Rx),

characterized in that it includes;

means for the disabling of the controller (510) of the data communication bus (Tx;

Rx) by the electronic control unit (500),

means for the transmission by the electronic control unit (500) of a signal frame on the data communication bus (Tx;

Rx), not corresponding to a standard frame of the protocol of the data communication bus (Tx;

Rx),

means for the reading by the electronic control unit (500) of the signals traveling along the data communication bus (Tx;

Rx),

means for issuing the positive safety diagnosis if the signal frame is not read by the electronic control unit (500).

4. Control device according to claim 3, characterized in that the signal frame is limited to a test bit.
