Abstract

The present invention relates to a computer device comprising a detector for detecting a user'"'"'s eye and a processor. The processor is configured to determine if the position of the user'"'"'s eye is kept in a zone for a first time period, and if the position of the user'"'"'s eye is kept in the zone for the first time period, suspend for a second time period detecting the user'"'"'s eye and determining the position of the user'"'"'s eye.

Claims

1. A device comprising:

a detector for detecting a user'"'"'s eye; and

a processor configured to;

determine if the position of the user'"'"'s eye is kept in a zone for a first time period; and

if the position of the user'"'"'s eye is kept in the zone for the first time period, suspend for a second time period detecting the user'"'"'s eye and determining the position of the user'"'"'s eye.

2. The device according to claim 1, wherein the processor is further configured to:

repeat to determine if the position of the user'"'"'s eye is kept in the zone for a first time period and to suspend for the second time period detecting the user'"'"'s eye and determining the position of the user'"'"'s eye.

3. The device according to claim 1, wherein the processor is further configured to:

reproduce a content even while the processor determines if the position of the user'"'"'s eye is kept in the zone for a first time period and suspends for a second time period detecting the user'"'"'s eye and determining the position of the user'"'"'s eye.

4. The device according to claim 1, wherein the processor is further configured to:

reproduce a video content even while the processor determines if the position of the user'"'"'s eye is kept in a zone for a first time period and suspends for a second time period detecting the user'"'"'s eye and determining the position of the user'"'"'s eye; and

if the user'"'"'s eye is not detected for a third time period, suspend detecting the user'"'"'s eye and determining the position of the user'"'"'s eye and pause to reproduce the video content.

5. The device according to claim 1, wherein the device further comprising a display available for presenting a stereoscopic image including left and right views.

The device according to claim 1, wherein the device further comprising a display available for presenting a stereoscopic image including left and right views in several view zones, the view zones including alternately arranged first and second view zones in which first view zone the left view to be presented to left eye of the user and the right view to be presented to right eye of the user and in which second view zone the left view to be presented to right eye of the user and the right view to be presented to left eye of the user, and

wherein the processor is further configured to:

determine if the position of the user'"'"'s eye moves into the second view zone; and

if it is determined that the position of the user'"'"'s eye moves into the second view zone, switch the arrangement of left and right views to be displayed on the display so that the left view is presented to left eye of the user and the right view is presented to right eye of the user.

7. A method comprising the steps of:

detecting a user'"'"'s eye;

determining if the position of the user'"'"'s eye is kept in a zone for a first time period; and

if the position of the user'"'"'s eye is kept in the zone for the first time period, suspending for a second time period detecting the user'"'"'s eye and determining the position of the user'"'"'s eye.

8. The method according to claim 7, wherein the method further comprising repeating the determining step and suspending step.

9. The method according to claim 7, wherein the method further comprising reproducing a content even while the determining step and the suspending step are performed.

10. The method according to claim 7, wherein the method further comprising the steps of:

reproducing a video content even while the determining step and the suspending step are performed, and

if the user'"'"'s eye is not detected for a third time period, suspending detecting the user'"'"'s eye and determining the position of the user'"'"'s eye, and pausing to reproduce the video content.

11. The method according to claim 7, wherein the device comprising a display available for presenting a stereoscopic image including left and right views in several view zones, the view zones including alternately arranged first and second view zones in which first view zone the left view to be presented to left eye of the user and the right view to be presented to right eye of the user and in which second view zone the left view to be presented to right eye of the user and the right view to be presented to left eye of the user, and

wherein the method further comprising the steps of:

determining if the position of the user'"'"'s eye moves into the second view zone; and

if it is determined that the position of the user'"'"'s eye moves into the second view zone, switching the arrangement of left and right views to be displayed on the display so that the left view is presented to left eye of the user and the right view is presented to right eye of the user.

12. A non-transitory storage medium readable by a computer, the storage medium storing a program for a device comprising:

a detector for detecting a user'"'"'s eye; and

a processor,

the program causing the processor to;

detect the user'"'"'s eye;

determine if the position of the user'"'"'s eye is kept in a zone for a first time period; and

if the position of the user'"'"'s eye is kept in the zone for the first time period, suspend for a second time period detecting the user'"'"'s eye and determining the position of the user'"'"'s eye.
