Handling of Signals Transmitted Through a Human Body
First Claim
1. A method of handling a signal transmitted through a body, the signal being coded with a coding scheme and associated clock rate, the method being performed in a signal handling device and comprising:
- receiving said signal, sampling at least a section (PDS) of the signal with a sample rate that is higher than the clock rate of the coding scheme, forming at least one series of samples of the signal, where the samples of a series have been sampled at a sampling position periodically recurring according to the clock rate, investigating if said at least one series fulfils a data sequence detection criterion, andsetting a sampling position for which a series of samples fulfils the data sequence detection criterion to be an operative sampling position.

Abstract
A signal handling device (14) for handling a signal (S2, S3, S4) transmitted through a body, where the signal is coded with a coding scheme and associated clock rate, comprises a receiving unit (22) configured to receive the signal (S2), a signal sampler (30) configured to sample at least a section of the signal with a sample rate that is higher than the clock rate of the coding scheme and form at least one series of samples of the signal (S4), where the samples of a series have been sampled at a sampling position periodically recurring according to the clock rate, and a data analyser (32) configured to investigate if said at least one series fulfils a data sequence detection criterion, and set a sampling position for which a series of samples fulfils the data sequence detection criterion to be an operative sampling position.
