Abstract

The present invention relates generally to gathering, verifying, and providing information in an easy-to-understand format. Representations are obtained and evaluated to extract selected content or content information from which certain synthesized information can be gathered, collected, estimated, calculated, or determined. In addition, supplemental synthesized information may be be gathered, collected, estimated, calculated, or determined.

Claims

1. A system for presenting certain desired information, comprising:

a processor;

a main memory in communication with the processor via a communication infrastructure and storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to;

identify a topic;

define component information useful to generate information about the topic;

configure a selection element by which representations are selectable based on at least one or more criteria;

obtain one or more representations related to the topic;

process the one or more representations;

extract content information from the one or more representations;

balance the content information to improve the comparability of the content information to additional content information or context information;

synthesize certain context information with the content information;

ascertain the synthesized information;

code the synthesized information by assigning one or more symbols to represent the synthesized information; and

display the one or more symbols in an input/output display interface.

2. An improved method for obtaining and evaluating observable information to determine certain desired information, comprising the steps of:

identifying a topic;

defining component information useful to generate information about the topic;

configuring a selection element by which representations are selectable based on at least one or more criteria;

obtaining one or more representations related to the topic;

processing the one or more representations;

extracting content information from the one or more representations;

balancing the content information to improve the comparability of the content information to additional content information or context information;

synthesizing certain context information with the content information;

ascertaining the synthesized information;

coding the synthesized information by assigning one or more symbols to represent the synthesized information; and

displaying the one or more symbols in an input/output display interface.

3. The method of claim 2, wherein the at least one or more criteria include obstruction level in representation.

4. The method of claim 2, wherein the at least one or more criteria include resolution of representation.

5. The method of claim 2 wherein the balancing step is automated.
