Abstract

An electronic device includes a display device and a processor. The display device includes a touch panel. The processor (i) generates a graph image to be displayed on the display device, (ii) when the generated graph image is displayed on the display device, acquires an object specified by a user, the object being contained in the graph image, and (iii) when the user performs a touch operation on the displayed graph image, changes a display style of the graph image according to a type of the acquired object and displays the graph image in the changed display style.

Claims

1. An electronic device comprising:

a display device including a touch panel; and

a processor which;

generates a graph image to be displayed on the display device;

when the generated graph image is displayed on the display device, acquires an object specified by a user, the object being contained in the graph image; and

when the user performs a touch operation on the displayed graph image, changes a display style of the graph image according to a type of the acquired object and displays the graph image in the changed display style.

2. The electronic device according to claim 1, wherein the processor:

generates the graph image corresponding to a function expression; and

when the user performs a swipe operation as the touch operation, changes the display style of the graph image and displays the graph image in the changed display style.

3. The electronic device according to claim 2, wherein

when the acquired object is an x axis, the processor scrolls the graph image in a direction of an y axis according to the swipe operation and displays the graph image in the changed display style, and

when the acquired object is the y axis, the processor scrolls the graph image in a direction of the x axis according to the swipe operation and displays the graph image in the changed display style.

The electronic device according to claim 2, wherein when the acquired object is a graph of the function expression, the processor scrolls the graph image in a direction along the graph of the function expression according to the swipe operation and displays the graph image in the changed display style.

5. The electronic device according to claim 2, wherein when the acquired object is a coordinate origin, the processor enlarges or reduces the graph image according to a direction of the swipe operation and displays the graph image in the changed display style.

6. A graph display method for an electronic device including a touch panel-attached display device, comprising the steps of:

generating a graph image to be displayed on the display device;

when the generated graph image is displayed on the display device, acquiring an object specified by a user, the object being contained in the graph image; and

when the user performs a touch operation on the displayed graph image, changing a display style of the graph image according to a type of the acquired object and displaying the graph image in the changed display style.

7. The graph display method according to claim 6, wherein

in the generating step, the graph image corresponding to a function expression is generated, and

in the changing-and-displaying step, when the user performs a swipe operation as the touch operation, the display style of the graph image is changed and the graph image is displayed in the changed display style.

8. The graph display method according to claim 7, wherein in the changing-and-displaying step,

when the acquired object is an x axis, the graph image is scrolled in a direction of a y axis according to the swipe operation and the graph image is displayed in the changed display style, and

when the acquired object is the y axis, the graph image is scrolled in a direction of the x axis according to the swipe operation and the graph image is displayed in the changed display style.

The graph display method according to claim 7, wherein in the changing-and-displaying step, when the acquired object is a graph of the function expression, the graph image is scrolled in a direction along the graph of the function expression according to the swipe operation and the graph image is displayed in the changed display style.

10. The graph display method according to claim 7, wherein in the changing-and-displaying step, when the acquired object is a coordinate origin, the graph image is enlarged or reduced according to a direction of the swipe operation and the graph image is displayed in the changed display style.

11. A non-transitory computer readable storage medium having stored thereon a program to be executed by a computer of an electronic device including a touch panel-attached display device, the program causing the computer to:

generate a graph image to be displayed on the display device;

when the generated graph image is displayed on the display device, acquire an object specified by a user, the object being contained in the graph image; and

when the user performs a touch operation on the displayed graph image, change a display style of the graph image according to a type of the acquired object and display the graph image in the changed display style.

12. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium according to claim 11, wherein the program causes the computer to:

generate the graph image corresponding to a function expression; and

when the user performs a swipe operation as the touch operation, change the display style of the graph image and display the graph image in the changed display style.

13. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium according to claim 12, wherein the program causes the computer to:

when the acquired object is an x axis, scroll the graph image in a direction of a y axis according to the swipe operation and display the graph image in the changed display style; and

when the acquired object is the y axis, scroll the graph image in a direction of the x axis according to the swipe operation and display the graph image in the changed display style.

14. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium according to claim 12, wherein the program causes the computer to, when the acquired object is a graph of the function expression, scroll the graph image in a direction along the graph of the function expression according to the swipe operation and display the graph image in the changed display style.

15. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium according to claim 12, wherein the program causes the computer to, when the acquired object is a coordinate origin, enlarge or reduce the graph image according to a direction of the swipe operation and display the graph image in the changed display style.
