1. An indirect tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) comprising:

  • an antilock braking system (ABS) configured to provide a wheel speed signal; and

    an electronic control unit (ECU) coupled to the ABS and configured to process the sensed signals using a multidimensional resonance frequency analysis (MRFA) that includes a spectral analysis identifying at least two tire vibration modes in the wheel speed signal and isolates at least one characteristic affecting the at least two tire vibration modes.
