Abstract

A plurality of positional information transmitters, each of which transmits positional information to which a plurality of unit spaces are each uniquely assigned, are disposed on a ceiling. A mobile terminal receives the positional information transmitted from each of the positional information transmitters and changes a terminal-side image in accordance with the received positional information. Furthermore, the mobile terminal transmits to a server current positional information and operation information indicating an instruction inputted by a user. The server changes, in accordance with the current positional information and the operation information received by the mobile terminal, a floor image displayed on a plurality of floor displays disposed on a floor. Thus, it becomes possible to provide a highly interesting and novel position detecting system.

Claims

1. A position detecting system comprising:

an information transmission device, comprising a plurality of transmitters, for transmitting predetermined information;

a mobile terminal for receiving the predetermined information; and

a control device capable of communicating with the mobile terminal, the mobile terminal including;

a display for displaying a first image;

first receiver circuitry for receiving the predetermined information transmitted from the information transmission device;

an image processing unit for changing the first image in accordance with the predetermined information received by the first receiver circuitry;

a pointing device for accepting an input by a user; and

transmitter circuitry for transmitting, to the control device, current positional information corresponding to the predetermined information received by the first receiver circuitry and operation information indicating the input entered by the user through the pointing device,

the control device arranged separately from the mobile terminal and the information transmission device and including;

second receiver circuitry for receiving the current positional information and the operation information transmitted from the mobile terminal; and

second transmitter circuitry for transmitting feedback information to the mobile terminal based on the received current positional information and the operation information transmitted from the mobile terminal, wherein

the first image includes a second image, and

the image processing unit changes the second image in accordance with the feedback information received from the control device.

2. The position detecting system of claim 1, wherein

the image processing unit changes a display mode of the second image between a first display mode indicating the second image is selectable by the user and a second display mode indicating the second image is not selectable by the user, in accordance with the feedback information received from the control device.

3. An information processing system, comprising:

an information transmission device; and

an information processing device including at least one display, a pointing device for receiving an input from a user and at least one processor, the information processing device configured to;

receive position information from the information transmission device,

receive an input entered by the user through the pointing device, and

obtain feedback information corresponding to the received position information and the input entered by the user.

4. The information processing system of claim 3, wherein

the at least one processor changes a display mode of an image in the display between a first display mode indicating the image is selectable by the user and a second display mode indicating the image is not selectable by the user, in accordance with the obtained feedback information.
