1. A method for deriving at least one influencer, the method comprising:
- receiving, by an opinion management computing device, a data set comprising at least one selected topic;
performing, by the opinion management computing device, a first keyword search for the selected topic, using a first keyword search query in at least one published platform channel, the first keyword search query containing keywords to identify a first meta-data of the at least one selected topic;
performing, by the opinion management computing device, a second keyword search in at least one conversari platform channel the second keyword search query containing keywords to identify a second meta-data of the at least one selected topic;
categorizing, by the opinion management computing device, the first meta-data and the second meta-data based on at least one metric;
calculating, by the opinion management computing device, a social influence measurement score by applying a linear combination with pre-configured weightages for the at least one metric; and
designating, by the opinion management computing device, a first ranked entity as an influencer for the selected topic, wherein the ranking is determined based on the social influence measurement score.
