Abstract

There is provided a display control device including a recognition unit configured to recognize a display region in a display unit which is visible from outside, an image generation unit configured to generate an image to be displayed in accordance with the display region recognized by the recognition unit, and a display control unit configured to control the display unit to display, on the display region, the image generated by the image generation unit.

Claims

1. A display control device comprising:

a recognition unit configured to recognize a display region in a display unit which is visible from outside;

an image generation unit configured to generate an image to be displayed in accordance with the display region recognized by the recognition unit; and

a display control unit configured to control the display unit to display, on the display region, the image generated by the image generation unit.

2. The display control device according to claim 1, further comprising:

an imaging unit,

wherein the recognition unit recognizes the display region in the display unit which is visible from outside, in accordance with an image captured by the imaging unit.

3. The display control device according to claim 2,

wherein the imaging unit is provided on a first side on which the display unit is provided, and on a second side opposite to the first side.

4. The display control device according to claim 1,

wherein the display control unit performs control to display the image generated by the image generation unit only in the display region.

5. The display control device according to claim 1,

wherein a touch sensor is stacked on the display unit.

6. The display control device according to claim 1

wherein the image generation unit performs a process of enlarging or reducing the image to be displayed so as to fit a size of the display region recognized by the recognition unit.

7. The display control device according to claim 1,

wherein the image generation unit generates an image in accordance with a priority order of information among the images to be displayed so as to fit a size of the display region recognized by the recognition unit.

8. The display control device according to claim 7,

wherein the image generation unit generates an image arranged so that information high in the priority order is located at a center of the display region.

9. The display control device according to claim 7,

wherein the image generation unit generates an image in which a plurality of pieces of information high in the priority order is aggregated.

10. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having a program stored therein, the program causing a computer to function as:

a recognition unit configured to recognize a display region in a display unit which is visible from outside;

an image generation unit configured to generate an image to be displayed in accordance with the display region recognized by the recognition unit; and

a display control unit configured to control the display unit to display, on the display region, the image generated by the image generation unit.
