1. A physiological monitor comprising:
- interface componentry in communication with at least two sensors each adapted to be positioned at one of at least two peripheral tissue sites, said interface componentry having outputs corresponding to signals received from each of the at least two sensors and responsive to light transmitted through a corresponding one of said sites; and
at least one signal processor in communication with said interface componentry outputs, said at least one signal processor receiving the outputs from the interface componentry and determining an indication of oxygen saturation values from said sites in response to the outputs, said at least one signal processor further configured to compare at least one first oxygen saturation value from a first of said at least two sites with at least one second oxygen saturation value from a second of said at least two sites to determine the presence of a heart abnormality.
