Abstract

A mobile terminal device includes a display part, a receiving part that receives an operation to cause an image group displayed in the display part to transition, and a display controller that controls the display part such that the image group displayed in the display part makes transition based on the operation. When the image group is caused to transition, the display controller reduces an image constituting the image group and increases the number of images displayed in the display part.

Claims

1. A mobile terminal device comprising:

a display;

a receiving module configured to receive an operation to cause an image group displayed in the display to transition; and

a display controller configured to control the display such that the image group displayed in the display makes transition based on the operation, wherein

the receiving module detects an input to the display, and

the display controller

changes a speed of the transition according to a moving speed of a position of the input detected by the receiving module,

reduces an image composing the image group and increases the number of images displayed in the display when the moving speed of the position of the input exceeds a predetermined speed, and

when the input is detected by the receiving module after a state of display in the display becomes the state of display in which the image is reduced, maintains the state of display in which the image is reduced irrespective of the moving speed of the position of the input while the input is being detected.

2. The mobile terminal device according to claim 1, wherein the display controller does not reduce the image but causes the image group to transition, when the speed of the transition is equal to or slower than the predetermined speed.

3. The mobile terminal device according to claim 1, wherein the display controller gradually decelerates the speed of the transition of the image group after performing the transition of the image group.

4. The mobile terminal device according to claim 3, wherein the display controller restores the reduced image to an original state as long as the input is not being detected by the receiving module when the speed of the transition becomes slower than a predetermined speed by the deceleration.

5. The mobile terminal device according to claim 1, wherein the display controller restores the reduced image to an original state, when the input becomes not being detected by the receiving module while the moving speed of the position of the input is slower than a predetermined speed.

The mobile terminal device according to claim 1, wherein the display controller controls the display such that the image group appears to be disposed in a three-dimensional space and such that the image group appears to be moving along a cylindrical curved surface, which is curved about an axis perpendicular to a moving direction of the image group, when the image group is caused to transition.

7. The mobile terminal device according to claim 1, wherein the image includes an icon.

8. The mobile terminal device according to claim 1, wherein the image includes a thumbnail of an electronic document.

9. A mobile terminal device comprising:

a display;

a receiving module configured to receive an operation to cause an image group displayed in the display to transition; and

a display controller configured to control the display such that the image group displayed in the display makes transition based on the operation, wherein

the receiving module detects an input to the display, and

the display controller

reduces an image composing the image group and increases the number of images displayed in the display with causing the image group to transition when an input indicating a flick to the display is detected by the receiving module, and

when an input indicating a touch to the display is detected by the receiving module after a state of display in the display becomes the state of display in which the image is reduced, maintains the state of display in which the image is reduced while the input indicating a touch is being detected.

The mobile terminal device according to claim 9, wherein, when the input indicating the touch to the display is detected, the display controller stops the transition of the image group, and then, when an input indicating a slide to the display is detected by the receiving module, causes the image group to transition according to the slide with maintaining the state of display in which the image is reduced.

11. A display control method of a mobile terminal device, the method comprising:

receiving an operation to cause an image group displayed in a display to transition by detecting an input to the display;

changing a speed of the transition according to a moving speed of a position of the detected input with causing the image group displayed in the display to transition based on the operation;

reducing an image composing the image group and increasing the number of images displayed in the display when the moving speed of the position of the input exceeds a predetermined speed; and

when an input to the display is detected after a state of display in the display becomes the state of display in which the image is reduced, maintaining the state of display in which the image is reduced irrespective of the moving speed of the position of the input while the input is being detected.
