USER INTERFACE FOR REALTIME LANGUAGE TRANSLATION
First Claim
1. A computer-implemented method comprising:
- receiving data indicating a movement of a client device by a first user;
determining that the movement of the client device is a delimiter motion for switching between a first mode, in which the client device is configured to (i) provide a first interface for a first user speaking in a first language and (ii) perform speech recognition of the first language, and a second mode, in which the client device is configured to (i) provide a second interface for a second user speaking in a second language and (ii) perform speech recognition of the second language, the second interface being different from the first interface; and
based on determining that the movement is a delimiter motion, switching between the first mode and the second mode without the second user physically interacting with the client device.

Abstract
A data processing apparatus receives data indicating a movement of a client device by a first user. The apparatus determines that the movement of the client device is a delimiter motion for switching between a first mode, in which the client device is configured to (i) provide a first interface for a first user speaking in a first language and (ii) perform speech recognition of the first language, and a second mode, in which the client device is configured to (i) provide a second interface for a second user speaking in a second language and (ii) perform speech recognition of the second language, the second interface being different from the first interface. Based on determining that the movement is a delimiter motion, the apparatus switches between the first mode and the second mode without the second user physically interacting with the client device.

1. A computer-implemented method comprising:
-
receiving data indicating a movement of a client device by a first user; determining that the movement of the client device is a delimiter motion for switching between a first mode, in which the client device is configured to (i) provide a first interface for a first user speaking in a first language and (ii) perform speech recognition of the first language, and a second mode, in which the client device is configured to (i) provide a second interface for a second user speaking in a second language and (ii) perform speech recognition of the second language, the second interface being different from the first interface; and based on determining that the movement is a delimiter motion, switching between the first mode and the second mode without the second user physically interacting with the client device. - View Dependent Claims (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7)

8. A client device comprising:
one or more computers and one or more storage devices storing instructions that are operable, when executed by the one or more computers, to cause the one or more computers to perform operations comprising; receiving data indicating a movement of a client device by a first user; determining that the movement of the client device is a delimiter motion for switching between a first mode, in which the client device is configured to (i) provide a first interface for a first user speaking in a first language and (ii) perform speech recognition of the first language, and a second mode, in which the client device is configured to (i) provide a second interface for a second user speaking in a second language and (ii) perform speech recognition of the second language, the second interface being different from the first interface; and based on determining that the movement is a delimiter motion, switching between the first mode and the second mode without the second user physically interacting with the client device. - View Dependent Claims (9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14)

15. A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing software comprising instructions executable by one or more computers which, upon such execution, cause the one or more computers to perform operations comprising:
-
receiving data indicating a movement of a client device by a first user; determining that the movement of the client device is a delimiter motion for switching between a first mode, in which the client device is configured to (i) provide a first interface for a first user speaking in a first language and (ii) perform speech recognition of the first language, and a second mode, in which the client device is configured to (i) provide a second interface for a second user speaking in a second language and (ii) perform speech recognition of the second language, the second interface being different from the first interface; and based on determining that the movement is a delimiter motion, switching between the first mode and the second mode without the second user physically interacting with the client device. - View Dependent Claims (16, 17, 18, 19, 20)
