1. A computer-implemented method for color correcting images captured using a mobile computing device, the method comprising:
- emitting a wavelength of light from a display of a mobile computing device;
capturing an image of the emitted wavelength of light using a camera on the mobile computing device;
analyzing the image of the wavelength of light emitted from the display of the mobile computing device that is captured using the camera on the mobile computing device; and
modifying at least one image captured using the camera on the mobile computing device based on the analysis of the image of the wavelength of light emitted from the display of the mobile computing device.

position the camera on the mobile computing device in relation to a mirror in order to capture the image of the wavelength of light emitted from the display of the mobile computing device, wherein the emitted wavelength of light comprises at least one ambient light source; capture an image of a user in relation to capturing the image of the emitted wavelength of light using the camera on the mobile computing device; and modify the image of the user based on the analysis of the image of the emitted wavelength of light.
