a plurality of rechargeable batteries having a first cross-sectional shape and having an end that includes a terminal; a holder having an inner and outer surface wherein the holder defines a plurality of openings that respectively receive the end of the plurality of batteries, wherein the ends of the batteries are exposed through the opening and wherein the holder includes a first alignment component formed on the outer surface; a bus bar that is bonded to the first end of the batteries through the opening in the holder, wherein the bus bar has a second alignment component that mates with the first alignment component so as to position the bus bar adjacent the terminals of the plurality of batteries. - View Dependent Claims (18, 19, 20)
