1. A wireless radio frequency communications platform comprising:
- a plurality of sensor units configured to collect data concerning monitored parameters and relay the collected data to a collector unit via a wireless radio frequency communication; and
the collector unit communicatively coupled over a wireless radio frequency communication network to the plurality of sensor units and configured to receive and store the collected data received from the plurality of sensors, the collector unit being further configured to transmit the collected data to a computing device upon receiving an indication that the collector unit is communicatively coupled to the computing device, wherein the computing device executes a computer software application that facilitates communication between the computing device and collector unit.

The collector unit may be configured to receive and store the collected data received from the plurality of sensors and transmit the collected data to a computing device upon receiving an indication that the collector unit is communicatively coupled to the computing device. The computing device may execute a computer software application that facilitates communication between the computing device and collector unit.

a plurality of sensor units, each sensor unit comprising; a sensing device configured to collect data concerning a monitored parameter; a wireless radio frequency transmitter configured to transmit collected data to a collector unit; a memory configured to store data collected by the sensing device data when communication with the collector unit is disrupted; a processor for controlling to operation of the sensor unit; and a power source configured to provide power to the sensing device, memory, processor, and wireless radio frequency transmitter; and
the collector unit comprising;a wireless radio frequency transceiver configured to receive the collected data from the wireless radio frequency transmitter of the plurality of sensor units and transmit the received collected data to a computing device; a memory configured to store the received collected data and provide the received collected data to the transceiver for transmission to the computing device upon receiving an indication that the collector unit is communicatively coupled to the computing device; a processor for controlling to operation of the collector unit; and a power source configured to provide power to the wireless radio frequency transceiver, memory, and the collector unit. - View Dependent Claims (14, 15, 16)
