Abstract

A sensor controller may receive a trigger and determine a first location associated with the trigger. Based at least in part on the determined first location, a first set of one or more sensors may be identified. The sensor controller may instruct the first set of one or more sensors to detect first data associated with a mobile device and/or a missing person. The first data associated with the mobile device may be received via the first set of one or more sensor. Based on the received first data, a second location corresponding to the mobile device and/or person may be determined. The second location may have increased accuracy as compared to the first location.

Claims

1. An apparatus comprising:

a processor; and

memory coupled to the processor, the memory comprising executable instructions that when executed by the processor cause the processor to effectuate operations comprising;

receiving a trigger;

determining a first location associated with the trigger;

based at least in part on the determined first location, identifying a first set of one or more sensors;

instructing the first set of one or more sensors to detect first data associated with a mobile device;

receiving the first data associated with the mobile device via the first set of one or more sensors; and

based on the received first data, determining a second location corresponding to the mobile device.

2. The apparatus of claim 1, the operations further comprising:

based on the received first data, identifying a second set of one or more sensors;

instructing the second set of one or more sensors to detect second data associated with the mobile device;

receiving the second data associated with the mobile device via the second set of one or more sensors; and

based on the received second data, determining a third location corresponding to the mobile device, the third location having an improved accuracy in comparison to the second location.

3. The apparatus of claim 2, wherein the trigger comprises a missing person indication, the operations further comprising:

distinguishing the mobile device from a plurality of mobile devices disposed within the first location;

determining whether the mobile device is powered on or off; and

determining a last known location of the mobile device.

4. The apparatus of claim 3, the operations further comprising:

providing an emergency message comprising the last known location of the mobile device.

5. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the trigger comprises a missing person indication, the operations further comprising:

determining that the mobile device corresponds to the missing person indication;

determining that the mobile device is powered off;

retrieving historical data associated with the mobile device; and

based on the historical data, determining a last known location of the mobile device.

6. The apparatus of claim 1, the operations further comprising:

based on the trigger, identifying an appropriate response personnel; and

deploying the appropriate response personnel.

7. The apparatus of claim 2, wherein the apparatus comprises an evolved node B.

14. The method of claim 1, wherein the method is performed by an evolved node B.

17. The computer readable storage medium of claim 14, the operations further comprising:

distinguishing the mobile device from a plurality of mobile devices disposed within the first location;

determining whether the mobile device is powered on or off; and

determining a last known location of the mobile device.

18. The computer readable storage medium of claim 17, the operations further comprising:

providing an emergency message comprising the last known location of the mobile device.

8. A method comprising:

receiving a trigger;

determining a first location associated with the trigger;

based at least in part on the determined first location, identifying a first set of one or more sensors;

instructing the first set of one or more sensors to detect first data associated with a mobile device;

receiving the first data associated with the mobile device via the first set of one or more sensors; and

based on the received first data, determining a second location corresponding to the mobile device.

9. The method of claim 8, the method further comprising:

based on the received first data, identifying a second set of one or more sensors;

instructing the second set of one or more sensors to detect second data associated with the mobile device;

receiving the second data associated with the mobile device via the second set of one or more sensors; and

based on the received second data, determining a third location corresponding to the mobile device, the third location having an improved accuracy in comparison to the second location.

10. The method of claim 9, wherein the trigger comprises a missing person indication, the method further comprising:

distinguishing the mobile device from a plurality of mobile devices disposed within the first location;

determining whether the mobile device is powered on or off; and

determining a last known location of the mobile device.

11. The method of claim 10, the method further comprising:

providing an emergency message comprising the last known location of the mobile device.

12. The method of claim 8, wherein the trigger comprises a missing person indication, the operations further comprising:

determining that the mobile device corresponds to the missing person indication;

determining that the mobile device is powered off;

retrieving historical data associated with the mobile device; and

based on the historical data, determining a last known location of the mobile device.

13. The method of claim 8, the method further comprising:

based on the trigger, identifying an appropriate response personnel; and

deploying the appropriate response personnel.

15. A computer readable storage medium comprising executable instructions that when executed by a processor cause the processor to effectuate operations comprising:

receiving a trigger;

determining a first location associated with the trigger;

based at least in part on the determined first location, identifying a first set of one or more sensors;

instructing the first set of one or more sensors to detect first data associated with a mobile device;

receiving the first data associated with the mobile device via the first set of one or more sensors; and

based on the received first data, determining a second location corresponding to the mobile device.

16. The computer readable storage medium of claim 15, the operations further comprising:

based on the received first data, identifying a second set of one or more sensors;

instructing the second set of one or more sensors to detect second data associated with the mobile device;

receiving the second data associated with the mobile device via the second set of one or more sensors; and

based on the received second data, determining a third location corresponding to the mobile device, the third location having an improved accuracy in comparison to the second location.

19. The computer readable storage medium of claim 15, the operations further comprising:

determining that the mobile device corresponds to the missing person indication;

determining that the mobile device is powered off;

retrieving historical data associated with the mobile device; and

based on the historical data, determining a last known location of the mobile device.

20. The computer readable storage medium of claim 15, the operations further comprising:

based on the trigger, identifying an appropriate response personnel; and

deploying the appropriate response personnel.
