- (a) a home game register adapted for;
i) maintaining a database including database segments for storing data related to a plurality of gambling restrictions for a plurality of zones, a plurality of user profiles, a plurality of local game server profiles,ii) receiving location data from a location based mobile gaming unit, wherein the location data is generated from a combination of location determining technology,iii) matching the location data to one of the plurality of zones,iv) receiving an identifier for a user selected gaming event, from the location based mobile gaming unit,v) routing one of the plurality of user profile to one of the plurality of local game servers, where the one of the plurality of local game servers is in one of the plurality of zones;
vi) routing the identifier for the user selected gaming event to a game controller,b) the game controller adapted for;
i) receiving the one of the plurality of user profiles from the home game register,ii) receiving from the home game register the identifier for the user selected gaming event,iii) providing the user selected gaming event to the one of the plurality of local game servers,c) the plurality of local game servers, where the one of the plurality of local game servers is adapted for;
i) receiving the identifier for the user selected gaming event from the game controller,ii) if the location data received from the location based mobile gaming unit indicates that the location based mobile gaming unit is in a zone that permits gameplay, providing the game to the location based mobile gaming unit, where the game is matched with the identifier for the user selected gaming event, andd) an operations and maintenance computing system adapted for;
i) graphically displaying a computer generated representation of the home game register, the zone, the location based mobile gaming unit, game controller, the local game servers,ii) tracking the location of one of the plurality of location based mobile gaming unit, andiii) tracking the gameplay.

A system for providing access to casino gaming and sports booking is provided which permits a gambler to place wagers using a location based mobile gaming unit. The gambler may access the system through a wireless network. Further, the gambler may be positioned anywhere there is an established local gaming server. A gambler profile may be provided wireless access to the local server along with the games available in the local server jurisdiction based on a global positioning of the mobile gaming unit.

(a) a home game register adapted for; i) maintaining a database including database segments for storing data related to the gambling restrictions for a zone, a user profile, and a local game server profile, ii) receiving location data over a wireless telecommunications network, where the location data is received from a location based mobile gaming unit, wherein the location data is generated from a combination of location determining technology, iii) matching the location data to the zone, iv) receiving an identifier for a user selected gaming event, the identifier for the user selected gaming event received from the location based mobile gaming unit, v) routing the user profile to the local game server, where the local game server is in the zone; vi) routing the identifier for the user selected gaming event to a game controller, b) the game controller adapted for; i) receiving the user profile from the home game register, ii) receiving from the home game register the identifier for the user selected gaming event, iii) providing the user selected gaming event to the local game server, c) the local game server, where the local game server is adapted for; i) receiving from the game controller the identifier for the user selected gaming event, ii) if the location data received from the location based mobile gaming unit indicates that the location based mobile gaming unit is in a zone that permits gameplay, providing the game to the location based mobile gaming unit, where the game is matched with the identifier for the user selected gaming event, and d) an operations and maintenance computing system adapted for; i) graphically displaying a computer generated representation of the home game register, the zones, the location based mobile gaming unit, game controller, and the local game server, ii) tracking the location of the location based mobile gaming unit, and iii) tracking the gameplay.

(a) a home game register adapted for; i) maintaining a database including database segments for storing data related to the gambling restrictions for a zone, a first user profile, a second user profile, and a local game server profile, ii) receiving a first location data over a wireless telecommunications network, where the location data is received from a first location based mobile gaming unit, wherein the first location data is generated from a combination of location determining protocols, iii) receiving a second location data over a wireless telecommunications network, where the second location data is received from a second location based mobile gaming unit, wherein the second location data is generated from a combination of location determining protocols, iv) matching the first location data to the zone, v) matching the second location data to the zone, vi) receiving an identifier for a first user selected gaming event, the identifier for the user selected gaming event received from the first location based mobile gaming unit, vii) receiving an identifier for a second user selected gaming event, the identifier for the user selected gaming event received from the first location based mobile gaming unit, where the first user selected gaming event is matched with the second user selected gaming event, viii) routing the first user profile and the second user profile to the local game server, where the local game server is in the zone; ix) routing the identifier for the first user selected gaming event to a game controller, b) the game controller adapted for; i) receiving the first user profile and the second user profile from the home game register, ii) receiving from the home game register the first identifier for the user selected gaming event, iii) providing the first user selected gaming event to the local game server, c) the local game server, where the local game server is adapted for; i) receiving from the game controller the first identifier for the user selected gaming event, ii) if the location data received from the first location based mobile gaming unit indicates that the first location based mobile gaming unit is in a zone that permits gameplay, and if the location data received from the second location based mobile gaming unit indicates that the second location based mobile gaming unit is in a zone that permits gameplay, the local game server is adapted for providing the gaming event to the first location based mobile gaming unit and the second location based mobile gaming unit, where the game is matched with the identifier for the user selected gaming event, wherein at least one of the first user profile or the second user profile is updated according to the outcome of the gaming event.

(a) a home game register adapted for; i) maintaining a database including database segments for storing data related to the gambling restrictions for a first zone, the gambling restrictions for a second zone, a first user profile, a second user profile, and a local game server profile, ii) receiving a first location data over a wireless telecommunications network, where the location data is received from a first location based mobile gaming unit, wherein the first location data is generated from a combination of location determining protocols, iii) receiving a second location data over a wireless telecommunications network, where the second location data is received from a second location based mobile gaming unit, wherein the second location data is generated from a combination of location determining protocols, iv) matching the first location data to the first zone, v) matching the second location data to the second zone, vi) receiving an identifier for a first user selected gaming event, the identifier for the user selected gaming event received from the first location based mobile gaming unit, vii) receiving an identifier for a second user selected gaming event, the identifier for the user selected gaming event received from the first location based mobile gaming unit, where the first user selected gaming event is matched with the second user selected gaming event, viii) routing the first user profile and the second user profile to the local game server, where the local game server is in the first zone;
ix) routing the identifier for the first user selected gaming event to a game controller,b) the game controller adapted for; i) receiving the first user profile and the second user profile from the home game register, ii) receiving from the home game register the first identifier for the user selected gaming event, iii) providing the first user selected gaming event to the local game server, c) the local game server, where the local game server is adapted for; i) receiving from the game controller the first identifier for the user selected gaming event, ii) if the location data received from the first location based mobile gaming unit indicates that the first zone that permits gameplay, and if the location data received from the second location based mobile gaming unit indicates that the second zone that permits gameplay, the local game server is adapted for providing the gaming event to the first location based mobile gaming unit and the second location based mobile gaming unit, where the game is matched with the identifier for the user selected gaming event, wherein at least one of the first user profile or the second user profile is updated according to the outcome of the gaming event.

(a) a home game register adapted for; i) maintaining a database including database segments for storing data related to the gambling restrictions for a zone, a user profile, and a local game server profile, ii) receiving location data over a wireless telecommunications network, where the location data is received from a location based mobile gaming unit, wherein the location data is generated from a combination of location determining technology, iii) matching the location data to the zone, iv) receiving an identifier for a user selected gaming event, the identifier for the user selected gaming event received from the location based mobile gaming unit, v) routing the user profile to the local game server, where the local game server is in the zone; vi) routing the identifier for the user selected gaming event to a game controller, b) the game controller adapted for; i) receiving the user profile from the home game register, ii) receiving from the home game register the identifier for the user selected gaming event, iii) providing the user selected gaming event to the local game server, and c) the local game server, where the local game server is adapted for; i) receiving from the home game controller the identifier for the user profile, ii) if the location data received from the location based mobile gaming unit indicates that the location based mobile gaming unit is in a zone that permits gameplay, providing the location based gaming unit an alert of gaming events.
