Abstract

A method of operating an electronic device is provided. The method of operating an electronic device includes displaying an image of a first resolution, determining at least a partial region of the image, and displaying an image of a second resolution corresponding to the partial region.

Claims

1. A method in an electronic device, the method comprising:

displaying a first image of a first resolution;

determining at least a partial region of the image; and

displaying a second image of a second resolution corresponding to the determined partial region.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the second resolution is higher than the first resolution.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein the first image is acquired through a first image sensor, and the second image is acquired through a second image sensor.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the first resolution and the second resolution are determined by the same image sensor.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the determining of at least a partial region comprises determining the partial region based on at least one user input.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein the determining of at least a partial region comprises determining the partial region based on attribute information of the first resolution image.

7. The method of claim 6, wherein the attribute information comprises at least one of a pattern, a size, and a resolution of the first resolution image.

8. The method of claim 1, wherein the partial region comprises an image area corresponding to at least one of an iris, a face, a text, and a barcode.

9. The method of claim 1, wherein the first resolution and the second resolution have the same pixel number.

10. The method of claim 1, wherein a down sampling method is applied to the first resolution image.

11. The method of claim 1, further comprising determining whether the second resolution is equal to or greater than a reference resolution for authentication.

12. The method of claim 11, further comprising increasing the second resolution by a predetermined value, if the second resolution is less than a reference resolution for authentication.

25. A non-transient computer readable storage medium that stores at least one program comprising instructions that enable an electronic device to perform the method of claim 1, when being executed by the electronic device.

13. An electronic device comprising:

a display device;

at least one image sensor; and

at least one processor,

wherein the processor is configured to control to display a first image of a first resolution, to determine at least a partial region of the image, and to display a second image of a second resolution corresponding to the determined partial region.

14. The electronic device of claim 13, wherein the second resolution is higher than the first resolution.

15. The electronic device of claim 13, wherein the first image is acquired through a first image sensor, and the second image is acquired through a second image sensor.

16. The electronic device of claim 13, wherein the first resolution and the second resolution are determined by the same image sensor.

17. The electronic device of claim 13, wherein the processor determines the partial region based on at least one user input.

18. The electronic device of claim 13, wherein the processor determines the partial region based on attribute information of the image.

19. The electronic device of claim 18, wherein the attribute information comprises at least one of a pattern, a size, and a resolution of the first resolution image.

20. The electronic device of claim 13, wherein the partial region comprises an image area corresponding to at least one of an iris, a face, a text, and a barcode.

21. The electronic device of claim 13, wherein the processor enables the first resolution and the second resolution to have the same pixel number.

22. The electronic device of claim 13, wherein the processor acquires the first resolution image through a down sampling method.

23. The electronic device of claim 13, wherein the processor determines whether the second resolution is equal to or greater than a reference resolution for authentication.

24. The electronic device of claim 23, wherein the processor increases the second resolution by a predetermined value, if the second resolution is less than a reference resolution for authentication.
