1. A method comprising:

  • detecting, at a device, a signal strength of a signal of a mobile device;

    determining, at the device, that the mobile device is in a vicinity of the device when the signal strength satisfies a threshold;

    sending an advertisement from the device to a display device in response to determining that the mobile device is in the vicinity of the device, wherein the advertisement is selected based on a user profile associated with the mobile device;

    determining, at the device, a reaction to the advertisement from a person associated with the mobile device; and

    sending information associated with the advertisement to the mobile device from the device in response to a positive reaction from the person.
