METHOD OF MANAGING EXTERNAL DEVICES, METHOD OF OPERATING EXTERNAL DEVICE, HOST DEVICE, MANAGEMENT SERVER, AND EXTERNAL DEVICE
First Claim
1. A mobile phone, comprising:
- a touch screen;
a first communication unit configured to communicate with a server;
a second communication unit configured to communicate with a wearable external device;
a memory configured to store a healthcare application; and
a processor configured to execute the healthcare application,wherein the processor is further configured to receive, from the wearable external device via the second communication unit, health-related information during the executing the healthcare application, wherein the health-related information is obtained by the wearable external device in which a firmware is installed;
to display the received health-related information on the touch screen;
to receive, from the server via the first communication unit, a new firmware to update the firmware installed in the wearable external device; and
to transmit, to the wearable external device via the second communication unit and during the executing the healthcare application, a command for facilitating an updating of the firmware installed in the wearable external device with the received new firmware.
